'Age Is Just A Number': Supermodel Paulina Porizkova, 60, Flaunts Her Natural Body in Unfiltered Pictures
The celebrated figure in fashion used her social media to embrace the passage of time with candor and confidence, sparking heartfelt messages from her followers.
On July 28, 2025, supermodel Paulina Porizkova shared a pair of unfiltered images on Instagram, showing her body in two different scenes. In her caption, the 60-year-old reflected on her evolving relationship with aging and the wisdom she has gained through decades of trial and error.

In one of her photos, Porizkova wears a beige underwear set and poses for a bathroom mirror selfie. She is frowning. Her gray hair is styled in a half ponytail, and the lighting is dim and harsh.

In contrast, the other image shows her in a white bikini, kneeling on an outdoor lounge bed draped with white curtains. Her hair is styled in an intentionally messy way, and she smiles brightly against a scenic lakeside backdrop.
Porizkova used the striking differences between these photos to launch into a personal reflection. "This is me. Vacation, pretty light, posing for a shot," she began, referring to the white bikini shot and moving onto the bathroom selfie. "This is also me. Home, not great light, not posing."
The supermodel then described the duality of her appearance as part of being in her 60s and having changing daily habits, like not always eating healthy, doing things right, or exercising every day.
"It's 60 years of learning of what works and what doesn't," Porizkova continued. "And just as I think I've figured it out, everything changes and I have to start again. The beauty of 60 is that now I understand the importance is IN the lesson, not passing the exam [sic]."
The post quickly ignited admiration from netizens. One person praised her, "We love how authentic and real you are thank you for that! You are beautiful💕 [sic]."
Another added, "Thank you for sharing and being real. I often see images of women on here going 'this is' and then whatever age they are but it's ALWAYS a super flattering photo not ever the realness of our ageing bodies. How are we ever going to accept ourselves if we're not seeing ourselves ✌🏽🧡🦋 [sic]."
Some took the opportunity to reflect on their own experiences. One woman began, "You are so inspiring as both photos are beautiful. I just turned 70 and in the mirror if I stand just right, suck in the tummy I'm like wow, not too bad. But other times I bend and see the sag, the cellulite in my legs, a bit crepy and I'm so accepting of this is how I am [sic]."
"I'm done competing (even with myself) I'm done looking for perfection. I am so content with my body. I had my young Glory Days and now I'm in my mature Glory Days!!!! You are so stunning, inspiring and authentic. Thank you thank you thank you for this post. Sending so much love and hugs! ❤️🤗❤️🤗❤️🤗[sic]," the same woman finished.
Another said, "Beautiful inside and out… Thank you for sharing the brutal truth and the pure joy of aging gracefully. It's a road trip and a half isn't it. I think everything you just said, sums it up perfectly. We just get better as we trial and error along. Xxx [sic]."
Many expressed gratitude for the way Porizkova embraces aging without apology. An Instagrammer wrote, "Words can't express how thankful I am for women like you, Paulina. Keeping it real. You are beautiful inside and out. Age is just a number. I wish more women felt beautiful in their own skin. ❤️❤️"
Another said, "Healthy, happy and radiant! … At this age trying to figure out the right formula is like a moving target. Justin, I think I've finally cracked the code, mother nature has another plan [sic].😂💚"
One public figure joined the praise as well. Actress Alyssa Milano wrote, "The most beautiful at any age and in any light." And a commenter added, "From model to ROLE-MODEL!! Thank you for being a warrior for REAL women of the world. 🥰"
This isn't the first time the supermodel has used her Instagram to post such reflections. On June 25, she uploaded an outdoor selfie taken from a low angle.
In the caption, she explained that she used to pick photos for Instagram where she looked her best — the youngest, with the fewest wrinkles and least sagging. Now, in the last year or so, she has deliberately selected some pictures that she previously would not have posted.
While these images always received negative feedback, Porizkova noted that most of the comments were from women who appreciated seeing genuine signs of aging.
She wrapped up her message by telling her followers that if they want to appear attractive, they should find good lighting and a great angle. Additionally, she said that if they are tired of feeling embarrassed about their age, they should proudly display their "seasoned lady flag."
In a post from April 15, the supermodel can also be seen in a white bikini, with proper hairstyling and natural makeup. The accompanying caption was also a profound contemplation on aging and self-acceptance.
She began by discussing what she had gained approaching her 60s. This included "ten extra pounds," which she admitted she "could agonize over." Instead, she was "trying to accept" this change. She also spoke about maintaining her health and letting go of parts of her wardrobe that had been with her for 40 years.
Porizkova also took the time to express gratitude for her loyal friends, especially those who accept her as she is and won't harp on her imperfections.
Other posts on her account almost resemble a diary of her health. Back in May, the supermodel posted a video commemorating a year since her bilateral hip replacement.
"All is well. Better than well. I have had no pain, no restrictions, and have been able to fully live my life again," she revealed, adding a heartfelt message of gratitude for her doctor.
Another video came on July 17, where Porizkova can be seen using the elliptical at a gym. In the caption, she wrote about preferring books to exercise.
"Unfortunately, reading may build my brain but my body - not so much. And my postmenopausal body needs the workout," the supermodel explained. "After my hip surgery I need to build strength and flexibility so I can keep doing all I love to do."
Porizkova also reflected on the fact that working out helped with her mental health. She then recounted the story about finding a gym in Prague decorated like a library and how perfect it was for her.
