Alec Baldwin & Wife Hilaria Celebrate 10 Years Since They 1st Meet — See Their Sweet Tributes
Alec Baldwin and his wife Hilaria are celebrating the tenth anniversary of their first meeting. The stunning woman just returned to Instagram after taking a six-week-long break.
It's been ten years since Alec Baldwin and his wife Hilaria met each other, and Hilaria took to her Instagram page with a heartfelt tribute dedicated to her husband. The tribute gave a brief explanation of how she met Alec. It read,
"We met each other 10 years ago today...it started off in a restaurant on an unseasonably warm night."
The write-up went on to describe what their life looks like ten years down the road. A photo of the lovebirds was attached to the tribute — it captured Alec busy on his phone while Hilaria stared up at the camera.
She explained at the end of the tribute that Alec had been in the process of "converting 152cm to inches" for reasons beyond her. The pair have been married since 2012.
After finding each other, they wasted no time making things permanent. They met in 2011, he popped the question in April 2012, and by June of the same year, they had made the walk down the aisle.
Fans of the pair took to the comments section to gush over the romantic post commemorating their anniversary. They all agreed that the couple had had a good run, and they hope it lasts for as long as possible.
In the aftermath, Hilaria chose to take a break from social media.
Alec Baldwin also shared the same picture with his fans on Instagram and captioned it with an equally emotional statement that left no doubt about his love for his wife.
Hilaria also shared more photos to her Instagram story. One featured her and Alec laying down on the floor with their daughter Carmen between them, and another saw the 7-year-old cradling her newborn brother.
The posts came shortly after Hilaria returned to Instagram following her six-week long break from the platform. The break was precipitated by the Spanish heritage scandal that saw Hilaria face allegations that claimed that her background was fake.
In the aftermath, Hilaria chose to take a break from social media. She made her return to the social media platform on February 5, after which she apologized for being vague about details concerning her upbringing.
Hilaria has stated that she was born in Boston but has also spent time in Spain with her family. She allegedly moved to New York at 19 while her family stayed back but has maintained a deep connection with both cultures.
