Many fans trooped to Twitter to bare their minds about actor Bill Murray's casual and relaxed look when he joined the Golden Globes Awards virtual stream from his home on Sunday.

70-year-old actor Bill Murray channeled the tropics with his appearance at the Golden Globes Awards on Sunday. He joined the Awards' live stream virtually from his home.

Murray was nominated for Best Performance by a Supporting Actor in a Motion Picture for his role in "On the Rocks" and appeared virtually sporting a colorful Hawaiian shirt.

The septuagenarian also held a glass of Martini in his left hand and sat in front of a sprawling yard, smiling as he raised his glass for everyone to see.

The veteran actor's refreshing look caught the eye and went viral, with many fans expressing their love for his simple but stylish vacation look on Twitter. Online publication, People, tweeted:

"Bill Murray and his martini are a #GoldenGlobes MOOD."

One fan commented on a picture of Murray by cheering him, while another fan noted that the actor brought the Zoom energy they appreciate to the Awards.

Buzz Feed News's Deputy Director, Breaking News, David Mack, tweeted that Murray donning a Hawaiian shirt is his vibe, while a tweep said Murray's appearance at the Golden Globes was peak pandemic energy.

Kaluuya earned his first Golden Globe award after coming close in 2018 when he was nominated for Best Actor in a Musical or Comedy.

The award category Murray was nominated alongside other nominees, including Sacha Baron Cohen, Jared Leto, Daniel Kaluuya, and Leslie Odom Jr.

In the end, the 32-year-old Kaluuya walked home with the award for his starring performance in "Judas and the Black Messiah." The actor experienced technical difficulties before being able to appear virtually to accept his award.

However, he saw the lighter side of things after Laura Dearn presented him with the honor, joking that he was done dirty but will save it all for the Hollywood Foreign Press Association (HFPA).

With the win, Kaluuya earned his first Golden Globe award after coming close in 2018 when he was nominated for Best Actor in a Musical or Comedy for his leading role in "Get Out."

While the win is outstanding and remarkable for Kaluuya, especially with the big names he had to contend with, his big night was outshone by Murray's impressive outfit and chilled appearance. Cheers to more wins!
