Fashion designer Mary-Kate Olsen sparked dating rumors following her divorce when she was seen with the businessman John Cooper during a night out.

Mary-Kate Olsen decided to give love a chance after finalizing her divorce from Olivier Sarkozy. According to US Magazine, Olsen and Cooper were recently spotted together with another couple for dinner.

The pair reportedly joined the couple on February 26 at a restaurant in New York City. Olsen and Cooper left the eatery together after overindulging in wine and cocktails.

OLSEN SPARKS DATING RUMORS

According to the outlet, the former actress wore a black jacket and matching beanie, while her date dressed down in a dark coat and grey scarf.

Olsen and her former spouse had their divorce finalized in January by the New York Supreme Court. Two weeks before they officially separated, the pair reportedly met up via Zoom for a virtual hearing to finalize details.

FILING FOR DIVORCE

“We just need to revise that agreement, get it executed and get it to you, which we will have by the end of the week, but the deal is now done,” said the attorney.

Olsen and Sarkozy started dating in 2012 and got hitched in November 2015. Nearly five years later, the "Full House" actress submitted a divorce petition, but the court halted the proceedings because of the pandemic.

In May 2020, she filed an emergency order to end her marriage, which the court rejected. A source revealed that when they finally called it quits, while Olsen's fortune was safe because the duo signed a prenup.

BEING SPOTTED WITH COOPER

A source told Entertainment Tonight that since the 34-year-old is a single woman now, she has started dating again. Cooper, the Brightwire CEO, might be her new lover since it is unknown if the two are an item or not.

Olsen has been casually dating people since the summer, and now that she had put her divorce behind her, she might consider a more serious relationship. The restaurant Estiatorio Milos, where she and Cooper were spotted, just so happens to be her favorite.

According to HollywoodLife, Cooper is not the only investment banker that Olsen has been linked to. Her former spouse Sarkozy was a French investment banker, and their separation became public knowledge in the spring of 2020.

Although she had previously kept her love life a secret, she has had her fair share of high-profile relationships. Olsen’s first public relationship was with screenwriter Max Winkler, and they started dating in 2002.

After their brief relationship, Olsen moved on to David Katzenberg, which was her first serious relationship. The pair dated for nearly a year and split in 2004 before going to college.

In January 2008, she was linked to actor Heath Ledger at the time of his death. The following month, she was spotted with Lapo Elkan at the Paris Fashion Week and were reportedly together for a few weeks after.
