Marie Osmond Celebrates Her Daughter-in-Law Claire's Birthday with the Best Words

The “Donny & Marie” star and member of the musical family the Osmonds, Marie Osmond, had kind words for the daughter of her eldest son on the day of her birthday.

61-year-old singer, actress, and talk-show host Marie Osmond is also the mother of eight children, who with their spouses and their own children, play a very important part in the star’s life.

Marie’s oldest child is her son Stephen, who is now 38 years old, is married to his wife Claire, with whom he shares three children, making Marie a doting grandmother.

On March 6, 2021, Marie showed how much she loves her daughter-in-law, with the singer taking to her Instagram account to share a throwback image of Claire to commemorate her birthday. As Marie wrote in the post’s caption:

“Happy Birthday to my beautiful Claire… You are such a blessing to our family... I love you with all my heart ♥”

It is not clear when or where the snapshot was originally taken but it pictures Claire standing at the border of a yacht in the middle of the ocean with a very small island with not much more than palm trees in the background.

In the image, the mother-of-three looks like she was having a great time onboard that ship during what looks like a vacation, and she looks youthful wearing a striped shirt and white shorts.

HER SON STEPHEN

Born Stephen James Craig on April 20, 1983, Marie’s eldest child is a product of her marriage to her first husband Stephen Craig, of whom she divorced in 1985 and to whom she re-married in 2011.

However, Stephen Jr. was later adopted by Marie’s second husband Brian Blosil when they married, so he goes by the name of Stephen Blosil, as he was credited on his only acting role to date, in the 1989 film “It Nearly Wasn’t Christmas.”

Stephen Jr. and his wife Claire, to whom he became engaged to marry in 2011, share three sons named Stephen (the third), Christian, and Maxwell. Besides acting, he also inherited his mother’s passion for music.

According to his IMDb profile, Stephen Jr. is also a singer, and he released his debut album, titled “That’s What You Get,” in Japan in February 2003, with his mother’s former guitar player Gary Baker.

SEVEN GRANDCHILDREN

Apart from her seven surviving children (Michael sadly died by suicide at age 18 in 2010), Marie is now the proud grandmother of seven children, and they have grown to become their favorite people in the world.

As Marie has repeatedly opened up about it, there is nothing that makes her happier than spending time with their grandchildren Stephen, Rocket, Christian, Maxwell, Maude, Wolf, and Mabel.
