'Sister, Sister' Star Tia Mowry Shares Her Heartwarming Love Story with Husband Cory Hardrict

"Sister, Sister" star Tia Mowry recently took a trip down memory lane on Instagram. She shared how she and her husband, Cory Hardrict, began their love story which started in 2000.

The 42-year-old former child actress shared on the online platform her photos with Hardrict, including the time when they were still dating. Hardrict was still on his quest to stardom then.

SHARING THROWBACK PICTURES

Mowry shared that their first photo was taken inside her apartment during their early years of dating. She met Hardrict during her last year of filming "Sister, Sister."

Hardrict also gave her a flower bouquet in the snap. The "The Game" star added that her husband moved to Los Angeles from Chicago to pursue a career in acting.

She shared another photo of them taken at one of the past Oscar parties. She noted that Hardrict became part of the movie "American Sniper" which earned a best picture nomination.

CHOOSING LOVE

With all the years she has shared with Hardrict, Mowry reflected in her post that growth, faith, and a firm belief in God had been key to their long-lasting marriage and career.

Despite their ups and downs, the love and trust between them have remained the same through the years. The acclaimed actress concluded:

After six years of dating and getting to know each other on a deeper level, Hardrict proposed to Mowry during Christmas Day in 2006. In 2008, the couple tied the knot in Santa Barbara, California.

Besides her love story and family life, Mowry has been open about keeping it real.

PARENTING AND MARRIED LIFE

The couple became a family of four after they welcomed their nine-year-old son, Cree Taylor, in June 2011 and two-year-old Cairo Tiahna in May 2018.

While parenting, Mowry has kept her marriage a top priority. She earlier revealed that she would schedule her intimate time with her 41-year-old husband once a week.

Besides her love story and family life, Mowry has been open about keeping it real. While she enjoys styling her hair, she has embraced her natural hair, too.
