John Amos' Daughter Shannon Rides Swing in the Middle of a Mexican Jungle Amid Wellness Journey

As she continues her wellness journey, John Amos' beautiful daughter, Shannon, shared on Instagram a video of her breathtaking trip to Tulum, Mexico.

TV producer and Sumanah founder Shannon Amos, daughter of "Good Times" actor John Amos, has been open about her new-found love for arts healing and travel.

She used to work with her father in Hollywood. But after some life-changing events in 2016, Shannon changed her career. She started traveling, as shown in the video she shared on the online platform.

SHOWING NATURE, SHARING POETRY

In one of her recent travels, Shannon featured the Magical Cenotes, a natural pool in Tulum, Mexico. She was swinging in front of the picturesque spot.

Shannon was barefoot in the two-minute video clip, but that did not stop her from enjoying the moment. She donned a white sleeveless dress and chic earrings.

Along with the enchanting video of Tulum's natural swimming holes, Shannon recited in the background a soothing poem titled "The Invitation" by Oriah Mountain Dreamer.

Shannon's Instagram followers flooded her comment section with red and purple heart emojis. Fans also praised the poem, writing that they found it pleasant to the ears.

A fan expressed that the Afterglow Multimedia content strategist read the poem beautifully and thanked her for sharing the video. Another one noted:

"so whimsical and magical."

EMBRACING DIGITAL MEDIA

After working in traditional media, Shannon has ventured into the world of digital media. She has been working as a content strategist for two online companies for more than two years.

Later on, Shannon founded Sumanah in 2019 and has been living abroad since then.

SHANNON'S CAREER IN HOLLYWOOD

Shannon grew up watching her father act on TV and in movies, including "Good Times" and "Coming to America." The New Jersey-native was exposed to the other side of Hollywood as well.

It was John who influenced his daughter to take the business side of entertainment. Shannon pursued a career in producing TV series until she created Afterglow Entertainment in 2014.

Shannon later founded Sumanah in 2019 and has been living abroad. According to her website, she has studied Reiki in Bali, became a certified yoga instructor in India, and a master diver in Malaysia.

As his daughter lives and works digitally, John continues to thrive in Hollywood. One of his latest projects is the comedy film "Coming 2 America" which was recently released on Amazon Prime Video.
