Congratulations are in order for an all-time favorite NBA legend, LeBron James, who newly added a feather to his hat by becoming a part-owner of the Boston Red Sox.

Amid his skillfulness and dedication to sports, LeBron James has earned himself the likes and respect of fellow teammates, the NBA, and fans, followed by a few accolades and awards.

Recently, James made the news over yet another incredible accomplishment. Fenway Sports Group, the parent company of the Boston Red Sox and Liverpool Football Club, joined forces with the sports star.

Many of the Lakers star's fans received the news via a shared story on James' Instagram story. It came with a photo of him during a game, smiling in his team's jersey. The breaking news printed for all to see read:

"Lebron James has become a partner in the Fenway Sports Group, making him a part owner of the Boston Red Sox...confirmed by ESPN."

The Lakers champion is not the only signed partner. The firm also welcomed a New York-based investment company. These partnerships alongside investments would stir the inclusion of other top-notch teams into FSG, making it an even greater company.

While he plays his game on the basketball court with passion, he is open to great business deals that can advance his worth.

For James, this is not his first dealing with the firm. The year 2011 provided him the luxury of owning a two percent share of the Liverpool soccer franchise.

As a partner of FSG, he is a part-owner of the Red Sox and other subsidiaries, including Roush Fenway Racing, NESN, and Fenway Sports Management.

A close friend and a long-term associate of the NBA star, Maverick Carter, is equally in the deal. Both men made groundbreaking history as being the first African American partners in FSG.

The 36-year-old has not been the only one celebrating the news. SportsCenter, a sports news outlet, also shared the big news on their platforms, and it had close to half a million likes followed by thousands of comments.

James' business acumen can never be undermined. While he plays his game on the basketball court with passion, he is open to great business deals that can advance his worth.

He is one of the richest basketball players. He is worth $343 million from NBA contracts, owns a media company, is a part-owner of the Blaze Pizza Company, has a share in Ladder Supplement Company, and is a lifetime ambassador of Nike.
