Artistic gymnast Shawn Johnson is all smiles in a TBT photo on Instagram as she showed off her baby bump in an Olympic Leotard ahead of Tokyo 2021.

Pregnant Shawn Johnson seems a little ahead of herself as she announces her big comeback to the games in Tokyo 2021. The artistic gymnast made the big reveal via a TBT photo of herself rocking her massive baby bump.

Johnson looked ready for the upcoming Olympics in her blue Olympic leotard sporting red artistic details. She paired the Adidas outfit with black skin-tight leggings as she stood sideways, with a cute grin playing on her lips.

The expectant mother posed with one arm on her hips while the other rested securely above her tummy bulge. She looked natural in her make-up-free face, with her blond curls held up in a ponytail.

The photo seemed to have been taken inside the living room of her Nashville home during her first pregnancy. The cozy fireplace could be seen in the background, underneath the large TV set.

Most fans found the caption hilarious, firing back with sarcastic, humor-filled comments. One fan jeered the star, asking if her wins at the Olympics would earn her two medals since there were two of her.

The Olympic gymnast announced in January that she was expecting her second child with her husband of four years, Andrew East. Months later, the couple revealed via a messy paint-party that the new baby, who was due in January, would be a boy.

The newborn would join his big sister, Drew Hazel, who, at seventeen months, is already following in her mom’s gymnastics footsteps. Johnson recently shared a video of the toddler taking on the balance beam for the first time with ease.

Speaking on how becoming parents and expecting a new baby while nursing a toddler has taken a toll on their relationship and family, East admitted that the pregnancy has, in fact, brought them closer.

This is not the first time the artistic gymnast would tease fans with a TBT picture of herself sporting a baby bump since going public with her pregnancy.

Back in January, following her pregnancy reveal, the icon shared a photo of herself showing off her baby bump in a black workout outfit while leaning on her husband’s shoulder.

Her caption suggested she took the shots while she was 11 weeks pregnant. Weeks later, Johnson wowed fans with an adorable photo of herself lying flat on the floor as Drew planted a kiss on her protruding tummy.

Although more shots of her growing baby bump have since followed, that tear-jerking mother-daughter moment easily passed for the favorite of them all.
