Hugh Jackman Jokes about Sun Protection Alongside Sunny Photos in the Water

The 52-year-old Australian actor knows the effect of sunburn all too well, having grown up down under, so he is doubling up on the sunscreen while swimming in the ocean.

Hugh Jackman took to Instagram to share some selfies of him taking a dip in the blue ocean waters. The photos show the Australian actor's bare chest as he smiles into the distance for the snap.

Playing out in the waves, the 52-year-old "The Greatest Showman" actor isn't letting the sun get the better of him as he joked about his sunscreen in the caption of the two pictures.

Jackman, looking fit and active in the shots of him, isn't taking any chances with the famously hot Australian sun and is making some good fun of his wariness of the sun.

The "Wolverine" star let his 29.5 million Instagram followers in on his sun protection regime when he ventures into the outdoors as he penned a humorous caption that reads:

"’Ive been double dipped in SPF 100."

LOVE FOR THE WATER

Jackman's candid selfies from the water are not the first time that his fans have seen the Australian star's love for the big blue mass of water. The actor has shared some shots of his water sports activities in the past.

Natalie Portman, alongside her husband, Benjamin Millepied, and their two children have also made Australia her new home.

The 52-year-old is all for continuing to learn new things as he embarked on the journey of mastering the electric surfboard. Jackman posted a few hilarious videos of him wiping out, showing it's not all glitz and glam in the water.

The actor enjoys keeping things light on his social media platforms. He shared some positivity during Thanksgiving last year as he shared a message of gratitude and love paired with a video of him practicing his tap-dancing skills.

Jackman posted a heartfelt message to all of his followers in celebration of the special holiday, sharing his thanks to everyone who showed their continued support. He wrote:

"Happy Thanksgiving to every single one of you. Truly, I am grateful to have your support, comments, humor, advice, quips, rebukes … All of it."

Jackman's home country has seen an influx of Hollywood celebrities who have headed to Australia either for work opportunities or to make the warm country their home permanently.

Zac Efron is one of the famous celebrities who has decided to relocate Down Under and is busy looking at property to buy in Australia. He is settling down with his girlfriend Vanessa Valladares, an Australian model.

Natalie Portman, alongside her husband, Benjamin Millepied, and their two children have also made Australia her new home. The actress immigrated to the southern country in November 2020.

Melissa McCartney, Nicole Kidman, and Luke Evans have called Australia their home for the time being as they are all working on their newest project, "Nine Perfect Strangers."
