'Duck Dynasty' Alum Bella Robertson Celebrates Her Bridal Shower Surrounded by Family

Bella Robertson of "Duck Dynasty" fame is one step closer to the altar as she recently celebrated her bridal shower with close friends and family.

18-year-old Bella Robertson had her bridal shower just four months after announcing her engagement to Jacob Mayo. In attendance were Korie Robertson, her mom, her sisters Sadie and Rebecca, and her sister-in-law Mary Kate.

Robertson added that although 18 seems like a young age to get married, it isn't a big deal in the south.

Proud mom Korie shared a series of photos from the party on her Instagram, showing Bella in a gorgeous white dress as she posed with her family and friends. In the caption, she gushed about her daughter getting married soon:

"Bella, you are so loved! It is the best thing in the world to look around the room at beautiful, strong, faithful women that love your baby dearly!"

She gave her followers a heartwarming visualization of what she could see during the bridal shower, as her daughter was surrounded by people who were cheering her on and praying for her. For her, there was nothing better to see this and know Bella and her husband-to-be were going to be supported all the way.

In the last photo of her carousel post, Korie had Bella sit on her lap. She mentioned this in her caption, saying that although the 18-year-old "Duck Dynasty" star was getting married, she was still her baby girl.

Although he couldn't be there, Mayo commented on his soon-to-be mother-in-law's post, saying: "My beautiful bride and her beautiful momma. I love you!"

Robertson and Mayo are headed down the altar after six months of dating. Although it seemed too soon for some of their fans on social media, the Robertson family took it well and are happy for Bella to be getting married.

In defense of her wedding, Robertson had something to say to those who were telling her she was too young to get married. While speaking to ET, she clarified that she and her fiancé have actually been friends for a long time.

The pair got close once they quarantined together, and in the six months they were dating, they were inseparable. Robertson added that although 18 seems like a young age to get married, it isn't in the south. Her parents, brother, and grandparents got married when they were 18 as well.

Despite what everyone says, the "Duck Dynasty" alum couldn't be happier with how her life is turning out. Robertson is madly in love with Mayo, and they are excited to spend the rest of their lives together.
