RHONJ Star Teresa Giudice and Brother Joe Gorga Mark One Year since Their Father Died
It has been one year since Teresa Giudice and Joe Gorga lost their father. On April 3, they posted tribute posts on social media to their late patriarch, Giacinto Gorga.
Teresa Giudice, known for starring in "The Real Housewives of New Jersey," took to Instagram to share a set of videos. As she said in the caption, she sometimes cannot believe her father is already gone.
It breaks her heart to walk into the kitchen and not see his smile, laugh, or hold his hand. Giudice said she and her four daughters, as well as her brother Joe Gorga and his wife, miss him every single day.

"You were a perfect father & I know you & mommy are cooking a feast & dancing to Bocelli today, watch over all of us & always protect us all," Giudice concluded. "Love you Papa."
On his Instagram account, Gorga chose to repost a throwback snap of their father. In the pic, Giacinto is seen sitting beside his wife, Antonia Gorga, who passed away from pneumonia in March 2017.
The picture also shows Gorga's three offspring. In the caption of his post, Gorga wrote that he misses his father more than ever. He promised to continue to honor him forever.
In December 2019, Giudice ended her relationship with Joe Giudice after two decades of marriage.
Giacinto fought hard with his health for decades and sadly passed away. At the time, Giudice wrote an emotional tribute on Instagram about the loss. The star called her father her "protector" and "hero."
According to Giudice, she was able to witness her father peacefully died and knows that he fought for her and her daughters. The star added that she has a lot of admiring thoughts about him.
Giudice maintained that her father was one of the strongest individuals she has ever known. She called him a gentleman, a dedicated husband, and a true example.
The tragic passing of Giacinto came close to three years after the death of Antonia Gorga, his wife and Giudice's mother. Giudice and her family held a dove release in her father's honor after his passing.
