The COVID-19 pandemic has seen new moms welcoming their babies into an entirely different world, and these celebrity moms have been navigating motherhood in this strange new normal.

The pandemic may have been able to halt a long list of activities and operations, but one thing that COVID-19 could not hinder was the arrival of these celebrities' precious bundles of joy.

Taking to social media to share adorable snaps of their newborns and the journey towards their highly anticipated arrivals, these stars have allowed their fans to tag along as they take on motherhood.

1. MANDY MOORE

The "This Is Us" star, Mandy Moore, who plays the beloved on-screen family's matriarch, has now become a mother in her own life. The 36-year-old welcomed her first child into the world with her husband, Taylor Goldsmith.

The singer and actress shared the news of her son's arrival on her Instagram page. She announced that they named their firstborn August Harrison Goldsmith. Moore wrote in the caption:

"Our sweet boy, August Harrison Goldsmith. He was punctual and arrived right on his due date, much to the delight of his parents."

2. HILARY DUFF

"Lizzie McGuire" star Hilary Duff also joined the new moms club when she welcomed her third baby into the world. The actress posted a sweet black and white family photo on social media to announce the exciting news.

There is a long list of a-liners who are still waiting in anticipation for their little ones to arrive.

Duff shares her two daughters with her husband, Matthew Koma, and has a son from her previous marriage. The couple decided on naming their third little girl Mae James Bair, and she joins her two older siblings, Banks and Luca.

3. BINDI IRWIN

Steve Irwin's daughter, Bindi Irwin, recently became a mother after giving birth to her first daughter. The Australian conservationist welcomed her little girl into the world on March 25, 2021.

Bindi is married to Chandler Powell, and the family of two has now expanded to three members. Bindi honored her dad in naming her little girl as she shared that the little bundle of joy is named Grace Warrior Irwin Powell. Bindi wrote:

"Her middles names, Warrior Irwin, are a tribute to my dad and his legacy as the most incredible Wildlife Warrior."

4. EMMA ROBERTS

29-year-old Emma Roberts ended 2020 off with a bang when she gave birth to her son, Rhodes Robert Hedlund, at the end of December. Roberts shares her newborn with her boyfriend 36-year-old, Garrett Hedlund.

The actress only revealed that she was expecting in August and surprised her fans by announcing that her son had made his arrival into the world by posting a precious snap of the mother and son.

5. EMMA STONE

The Emma's are coming in stronger with the new moms club as actress Emma Stone delivered her firstborn with her husband Dave McCary in Los Angeles.

News of Stone's pregnancy only started circulating in January, which means that the "La La Land" star did a good job at keeping her pregnancy under wraps. It is not yet confirmed whether Stone's child is a boy or a girl.

Whilst these celebrities have already welcomed their babies, there is a long list of a-liners who are still waiting in anticipation for their little ones to arrive. Kirsten Dunst is amongst those who are still pregnant.

Dunst is expecting her second child with the actor Jesse Plemons. She announced the big news with a photoshoot for W Magazine, where she showed off her adorable growing bump.
