Power couple Jennifer Lopez and Alex Rodriguez have officially ended things after four years together. The couple ended their two-year engagement via a joint statement.
After weeks of addressing rumors of a split, Jennifer Lopez and Alex Rodriguez have officially confirmed that they are no longer together. The power couple shared the news via a joint statement, saying:
“We have realized we are better as friends and look forward to remaining so. We will continue to work together and support each other on our shared businesses and projects.”

The former lovebirds revealed that they wished each other’s children the best. Lopez and Rodriguez concluded that they would reserve their comments to thanking fans out of respect for their kids.
Fans may recall that speculation of a break-up first surfaced in March. At the time, sources claimed that they had called off their two-year engagement after hitting a “rough patch” in their relationship.
Per reports, A-Rod was involved with “Southern Charm” star Madison LeCroy and had a Facetime scandal with the reality star. However, LeCroy cleared the air, saying nothing happened between her and the businessman.
The retired baseball player popped the big question to the “Hustlers” star in March 2019 after two years of dating.
However, the duo refuted the claims, releasing a statement that they were still together but were “working through some things.” The pair shared several social media updates, assuring fans that things were good.
The rumors further intensified early this month when a photo from Lopez on the set of her upcoming movie, “Shotgun Wedding” in the Dominican Republic, saw her without her engagement ring.
The retired baseball player popped the big question to the “Hustlers” star in March 2019 after two years of dating. The former couple first met in 2005 at a baseball game Lopez attended with her ex-husband March Anthony.
12 years after their first meeting, Rodriguez and Lopez reconnected at a restaurant after running into each other. A month after, they began dating before making their red carpet debut in May 2017.
