During the 35-minute interview, the talk show host Pinkett Smith asked him if he believes that there was foul play in his daughter's death. Without hesitation, he said, "Definitely."
Willow chimed in asked whether he thought that Nick Gordon drugged his child. He repeated his first response, again without thinking twice.
Brown further explained that Gordon was present when both his loved ones passed, more so in similar situations as they died from the use of drugs.
The actor said Gordon was the only one there with both situations with Houston and their daughter Bobbi Kristina because they both died the same way.
Willow questioned whether he also believed that he killed her mother; he said “I believe so." When Willow's grandmother asked him if he thought Gordon was the one who provided the drugs, he noted:
“Yeah, I think. This is my opinion of who I think this young man was. Being around my daughter being around my ex-wife, he was more a provider of party favors."
Gordon was Bobbi Kristina’s boyfriend, and her family has suspected him of her death for many years. He was also found legally liable for her death in civil court.
Bobbi Kristina and her mom both overdosed in bathtubs. Houston died in February 2012, whereas her one and only daughter passed away three years later in 2015.
In January that year, the 22-year-old was found unresponsive at her Atlanta home. She was then placed in a medically induced coma and placed under hospice care for six months until she passed In July.
Her mother, a best-selling recording artist, died at age 48, with the cause later being revealed as drowning due to coronary artery disease and cocaine intoxication.
While Brown firmly believes that Gordon had a hand in their tragic deaths, he was never charged as he was investigated for years. He died on January 1, 2020, from a heroin overdose.
The R&B legend’s son also died five months ago. According to an autopsy report, Bobby Brown Jr. died from the chemical effects of alcohol, cocaine, and fentanyl.
Besides his tragedies, Brown also opened up about his past struggles with substance abuse. The dancer got candid about excessive drinking, which led to his body shutting down.
His addiction resulted in the need for alcohol instead of getting drunk. The "Roni" hitmaker explained that he needed it to wake up, stop the shakes, and function daily.
