Monica Bellucci transformed into a witch in a picture that showed her in a long gray coat taken from the set of "Befana Comes At Night 2."

Italian actress Monica Bellucci's fans, know her for her glamorous looks on the red carpet. However, she looked barely unrecognizable in a picture ET Canada shared on Twitter on Tuesday.

The picture was taken from the set of the upcoming movie "The Befana Comes At Night 2: The Origins," where Bellucci portrays the Good Witch Dolores.

In the snapshot, she looked intense while clad in a gray coat and held a long witch broom. She also wore a brown hat over a ratty gray wig. The actress also wore brown gloves.

The picture also showed cameras, and other movie directional equipment on tripod stands behind Bellucci. ET Canada captioned the post:

"The Befana Comes At Night" is produced by Lucky Red and Rai Cinema in partnership with Sky and will be a prequel to the Italian language film "La Befana vien di notte," which translates to "The Legend of the Christmas Witch."

Bellucci, 56, did not star in the Italian film but will be joined in the upcoming movie by Alessandro Haber, Zoe Massenti, Herbert Ballerina, Fabio De Luigi, and Corrado Guzzanti.

Filming for the movie began in Italy on March 1, with its release date expected to be towards the end of the year. Bellucci's stunning transformation for her role hints that the movie could be one to watch.

Her look in the film marks a far departure from what she usually looks like, as the 56-year-old has remained a living embodiment of the Felline-esque femme fatale to the present day.

She has rocked multiple stylish looks over the years, remaining loyal to her fashion choices, which are normally are fishtail gowns with bold necklines, lace, diamonds, and lots of black, her signature color.

Bellucci has been in a relationship with 37-year-old Nicolas Lefebvre since May 2017. She started dating him four years after splitting from her ex-husband and Matrix Vincent Cassel.
