Maria Menounos' Mother Litsa Dies after Long Time Battle with Brain Cancer
Television correspondent Maria Menounos revealed that her mother Litsa recently passed away from brain cancer. The late matriarch battled the disease for four years.
Television personality Maria Menounos is mourning the loss of her beloved mother, Litsa Menounos. The famous host took to social media to pay tribute to the matriarch who recently passed away, writing:
“RIP, mom. God loved her so much he took her on greek easter.”

Menounos concluded, writing in Greek, “Christ is Risen mom.” Alongside the toughing message, the “Fantastic Four” actress shared a tear-jerking image of her and Litsa during one of her final moments.
Menounos was seen sweetly embracing her late mother as they laid in bed. Colleagues like Zoe Saldana and Nikki Bella sent their condolences and well wishes in the comments section. Fans celebrated Litsa’s life.
According to reports, late Litsa passed away after a four-year-long battle with Stage 4 brain cancer. On her show, “Better Together,” Menounos previously shared that she relocated her parents back to Connecticut after more than a year.
Menounos rose to fame as a college student when she worked for Channel One News, covering educational news.
Menounos’ parents were away in Los Angeles, and she experienced challenges in transporting them home safely. However, her good friend Ed Mylett lent her a private plane to assist.
At the time, Litsa was undergoing chemotherapy following a recovery from COVID-19. Menounos shared the news with fans, noting that both her parents were diagnosed with the virus.
Known for her affiliation with entertainment big houses like E!, Access Hollywood, and Extra, Menounos rose to fame as a college student when she worked for Channel One News, covering educational news.
Alongside her impressive hosting talents, the 42-year-old is a lover of wrestling and made a rare appearance Wrestlemania 28 in a tag team match with Kelly Kelly against Beth Phoenix and Eve Torres.
The “Chasing Maria Menounos” star is currently married to television writer Keven Undergaro. The duo began dating way back in 1998 and tied the knot on national television in December 2017 during a live broadcast on Fox Television.

of $9 million. The majority of her wealth reportedly comes from the multi-year deal she signed with E! News in 2014.
