Alongside the fun energy and array of exciting outdoor activities of summer comes intense bouts of heat. Summer is the hottest season of the year, and it can be challenging to remain hydrated.

EASY LEMONADE
This is the easiest recipe to make homemade lemonade. You would need three unwaxed lemons, 1 liter of cold water, and caster sugar. The first step is to wash the lemons and chop them.
Next, put the chopped lemons, half of the water, and the sugar into a food processor or blender and blend until you notice that the lemons are finely chopped. Once done, pour the mixture over a sieve. Add the remaining water and add ice as desired.

PINK LEMONADE
If you’re looking to switch things up and ditch the yellow color of regular lemonade, this is the recipe for you. The ingredients remain the same as a homemade lemonade with the addition of a few items.
You would need punnets raspberries ― which would give the pink color ― orange, fresh mint, ice, and sliced lemon. Put all of the ingredients in a saucepan and add 300ml of cold water. Boil the mixture under medium heat while stirring.
After some minutes, turn off the heat and allow the mixture to cool. Once cool, pour it through a sieve, making sure to extract all of the juice. Store the extracted syrup in the fridge for about a week. Dilute with water and ice whenever served.
RASPBERRY LEMONADE SLUSHIES
This frozen drink promises to quench your sweet tooth while keeping you hydrated. The ingredients needed include frozen raspberries, soda water, agave nectar, ice cubes, and juiced lemons.
After washing the fruits, put them into a food processor. Add 3 tbsp of agave nectar alongside the soda water, juiced lemons, and ice cubes. Allow the mixture the blend until you get a smooth, slush mixture. Serve in a cup.
WATERMELON LEMONADE
If you’re looking for something different to serve during a hangout and kids’ party, this is the ideal recipe. You’ll need lemon juice, soda water, golden caster sugar, lime, watermelon, mint, and crushed ice.
First, cut off the top of the watermelon and scoop out the fruit using a spoon. Mash the fruit through a sieve and put the mixture alongside the lemon juice and sugar into a blender. Blend until you get a purée texture.
Add the paste mixture into soda water. Separately, put the crushed ice into the hollowed watermelon and then pour in the purée blend. Mix it and serve in a jug. Garnish with lime slices and mint.
