Daily Joke: Car Mechanic Spots a Heart Surgeon Standing Next to Him
During the process of installing the cylinder heads on the car's motor, loudmouth mechanic Morris spotted heart surgeon Dr. Michael DeBakey who was standing nearby.
The heart surgeon awaited the service manager's arrival to have his Mercedes inspected. Morris yelled across the garage, "Is that you, DeBakey? Come on over here in a second."
Quite surprised, Dr. DeBakey made his way to where Morris was fixing the car. Morris straightened up and wiped his hands on a rag before saying, "Well, look at this work here, Mr. Fancy Doctor."
While he was working on the car, the surgeon looked at it. Afterward, Morris said he also opened hearts, removed valves, ground them, and replaced them, and that when he finished, this baby purred like a kitten.
Morris asked DeBakey how come he was getting the big money when they were basically doing the same thing. Dr. DeBakey then leaned slightly and whispered to Morris, "Try doing it while the engine is running."
Are you up for another round of laughter? Here's a joke about a man getting home from work at night and hearing a strange voice. The ending of the story will definitely make you laugh.
After returning home from work, a man heard an unknown voice. The loud voice ordered him to quit his job, put his home up for sale, withdraw the cash, and then go Las Vegas.
After being disturbed by these words, the man chose to ignore the voice. However, after coming back from work the following morning, he encountered the same issue.
Even though the voice was very distressing, the man continued to ignore it. On his return home from work, he always heard the exact same voice giving him the exact same instructions.
The man became increasingly annoyed with each utterance of the voice. He eventually gave up under the pressure. Upon leaving his job and selling his house, he took a plane to Vegas.
After his plane landed in Vegas, the voice instructed him to go to Harrah's. He immediately grabbed a taxi and ran over to the casino. He was directed to the roulette table as soon as he walked inside.
He followed the instructions carefully. Upon reaching the roulette table, the voice instructed him to place all of his money on 17. In a nervous fit, he cashed in his chips and placed them all at 17.
As the dealer spun the roulette wheel, he wished the man good luck. Slowly, the ball weakened in speed and eventually settled at number 21. After that, the voice screamed, "Bugger!"
