Rapper Nicki Minaj Shares a Rare Video of Her Son Who Looks Cool In an All-White Outfit

Nicki Minaj is known for her rapping skills and her many creative alter egos, playing fan-favorite well-known roles such as Roman, Barbie, and this time, doting mother-of-one.

Nicki Minaj recently took to Instagram, ready to show off a sweet family moment. She shared a rare video of her son, who looked cool in an all-white outfit.

The white ensemble included an animated teddy bear printed on it. His shoes matched the colors of the bear, proving he is growing up to be just as stylish as his mom.

The little one's dad and Minaj's husband, Kenneth Petty, held him up as he attempted to gain some independence by standing up all on his own. Minaj spoke to her baby:

"You trying to do all of that today?”

She then facetiously asked the young one if she was bothering him and should leave him alone. Their son didn't seem to notice his mother's banter, simply focusing on standing upright.

The little fashionista's look didn't end there. He wore a long golden chain along with a matching bangle, his eyes sparkling with the possibility of gaining some independence.

Expanding more on her experience as a mother, Minaj opened up about breastfeeding. She exclaimed how painful it is and repeated her affirmation that mothers are superheroes.

CHALLENGING CHOICES

The artist also spoke about the difficult decisions a mother has to make, such as whether to get a nanny or not. Minaj expressed on Twitter that she wasn't sure which route to take.

The tweet was in response to a fan who said they missed her and asked her why she couldn't get a nanny like any other celebrities. Others encouraged the mother to take her time with her baby.

Minaj's son remains a partial enigma to many, as the rapper keeps him away from all the publicity for the most part. However, her husband and father to her baby, Petty, is a mystery to the artist's fans too.

What they may not know is that Petty has a bit of a rap sheet. He was once sentenced on the grounds of attempted sexual abuse and also pleaded guilty to charges of manslaughter in 2006.
