RFK's Daughter Kerry Kennedy Honors Late Dad with Unseen Photo to Mark 53rd Death Anniversary
To mark the 53rd anniversary of her dad's assassination, Kerry Kennedy, daughter of Robert F. Kennedy, shared a lovely post on Instagram in honor of her dad.
It has been more than five decades since bullets felled the Kennedy brothers from the guns of assassins that ended their political aspirations and left a void in their families.
To mark the 53rd anniversary of his tragic death, Robert F. Kennedy's daughter Kerry Kennedy shared an unseen picture of her and her dad alongside a touching tribute on her Instagram.

Kerry, the daughter of the late senator and Ethel, started her tribute with a famous quote from Armenian poet Siamanto before confessing how much she misses her dad every day.
The 61-year-old also thanked photographer Harry Benson, who captured the moment. She wrote on the post, "Missing my dad every day. And grateful to all those who seek the fruitful good. Special thanks to Harry Benson for this photo and to Gigi for making it happen!"
Kerry's father, Senator Robert F. Kennedy, had served as the 64th attorney general before he was assassinated while campaigning for the top position in the country: the presidency.
According to reports, Robert died at age 42 and a little more than 25 hours after he was shot while leaving an event at the ballroom at the Ambassador Hotel in Los Angeles.
She served as the United States Ambassador to Japan from 2013 to 2017.
His wife Ethel, who was pregnant at the time, and his 15-year-old son Joseph were at his bedside. After the assault, Robert never showed any sign of consciousness or recovery.
Robert and Ethel had eleven children together before his death. Unfortunately, the family would be submerged in a series of tragedies, including their son David dying from an overdose at 28.
Robert's brother, President John F. Kennedy, was shot twice during a public appearance in Texas, leaving behind his wife Jacqueline Bouvier, who would later become known as Jackie O, and their four children.
Of their four children, Caroline, John Jr., Patrick, and Arabella, Caroline is the only surviving child after her three siblings met untimely ends. Their daughter Arabella was stillborn, while Patrick died two days after his birth.
Their son, John Jr., died in 1999 in a small plane crash. Caroline is now an American author, attorney, and diplomat. She served as the United States Ambassador to Japan from 2013 to 2017.
Fews years after his death, John's wife Jackie married a foreigner who was 23 years her senior. Until her death in 1994, Jackie lived her life in the best way she could.
