Horse Photobombs Couple's Maternity Photo Shoot, Their Reaction Is Priceless
Photographer Kristen Zaffiro was in the middle of a maternity shoot when the friendly horses meant for the background decided that they wanted to be at the forefront of the shoot.
When Amanda and Phil booked a maternity photoshoot with Kristen Zaffiro and asked her to include their horses in the special moment, they didn't think that one of the animals would demand center stage in the shots.
While the expecting parents smiled broadly for the camera, one of their friendly horses smiled along with them and stole the spotlight in the photo with all the focus and laughs on him.

FUNNY FACES
As Amanda cradled her growing bump and stood close to her husband, their horse Buckshot moved closer to get his moment in front of the camera, pulling a hilarious face.
Smith took the little horse into her home, knowing that he wouldn't survive outside, and gave him another chance.
The horse opened his mouth and stuck his tongue out for all to see, and the photographer couldn't get enough of the animal's funny antics, despite having to actually focus on the couple.
AT LEAST SMILE
Zaffiro shared that when Buckshot stepped forward in the shot instead of remaining in the background, she joked with him that he should at least smile if he wanted to participate. She said:
“I said, ‘Well you could at least smile' — AND HE DID!”
That is when Buckshot pulled out all the stops and his biggest, silliest smile to make for an iconic moment with the couple during their maternity shoot.
REACTING TO THE LAUGHS
The photographer revealed that the harder they laughed at the horse, the funnier his faces became, and eventually, the entire moment was all about Buckshot.
While it wasn't exactly what the mom and dad-to-be had in mind when they booked Zaffiro for a maternity shoot, they still loved the unique and hilarious photos that were produced by the moment. The photographer said:
"So the more I laughed, the more he acted up! Amanda and Phil loved all the pictures! When I looked through them, I laughed even harder than that day!"
MINI-HORSE
Another horse that stole the show is the mini horse, Peabody. The 19-lb horse was abandoned by its mother at birth and ended up in the home of Faith Smith along with her three French bulldogs.
Peabody made an impression because of his tiny body, which is small compared to others in his breed. He was dropped off by his owner, who suggested he be euthanized because his jaw was out of place and that caused him not to eat.
Smith took the little horse into her home, knowing that he wouldn't survive outside, and gave him another chance. His jaw aligned, and despite being deaf, he manages very well around the house.
The owner also shared that although Peabody was scared when he initially came to her, he has now settled and even made friends with the other dogs in the home with him.
