People Slam TikToker for Filming Confrontation with Wendy's Worker in a Drive-Thru

A man took to TikTok to share a video of his confrontation with a Wendy’s worker, which has since gone viral. However, netizens' reaction to the viral post was a far cry from what he anticipated.

One TikTok user is under fire after a video of his confrontation with a Wendy’s employee in a drive-thru went viral. The clip featured the man, his girlfriend, who was the driver of the vehicle, and the Wendy’s worker.

The TikTok user claimed the female employee disrespected him and his girlfriend while they were trying to place their orders via the drive-thru.

Although it was not clear what ensued beforehand, the video began with the TikToker accusing the employee of being mad because she hated her job.

The man then proceeded to order “a number 10,” which was not on the menu. The worker simply replied “no,” indicating the order was not available.

The response seemed to hit home as the poster and his girlfriend sniggered before confronting the staff for not having their order on the menu.

Amid the confrontation, the girlfriend insisted the item was on the menu, prompting the TikToker to address the employee by the name, Sharkeisha, which seemingly threw her off, as she went silent immediately.

People like the TikToker were responsible for making people in the industry hate their jobs.

At that point, the driver drove closer to the drive-thru window while the TikToker continued confronting the staff. As the altercation played out, the employee tried to avoid further drama by calling for the next customer in the drive-thru.

Her attempt to de-escalate the situation only heightened the couple’s anger as they intensified their argument. The clip, which was filmed by the TikToker, has garnered over 180,000 views and 1,300 comments in the last five days.

Most of the reactions were in favor of the worker, with most blasting the TikTok user for his seemingly rude attitude. One user slammed:

"People harass customer service workers like it’s funny, then turn on the cameras to film people’s reactions when they’ve finally had enough."

A user jeered the poster for even assuming netizens would take his side. Going further, the commenter pointed out that they stood with the employee, who did not get paid enough to deal with such attitudes.

Another TikToker slammed the poster for expecting an employee not to react in the midst of a provocation. Another noted that people like the TikToker were responsible for making people in the industry hate their jobs.

More users admonished the poster, advising him to learn to respect the customer service industry. Netizens made sure the user and his girlfriend realized they were on the worker’s side, which was likely not the response he expected upon sharing the video.
