The common theme in many of the messages sent to Applegate mentions how strong she is as a person. That perception of the actress grew from the many years the public watched her struggle with her now cured cancer.

Applegate has also not had to go through all that she has alone with her daughter and husband by her side. The actress revealed that her healthy lifestyle is a family effort that even involved eating homegrown vegetables.

Although the shared clean lifestyle supports Applegate, the actress also revealed that the approach protects her daughter. The “Hall Pass” star revealed that she ensures her daughter also eats clean in case she has the cancer gene.

She shared that she tries to keep her days stress-free by working at her daughter’s school and being there for her 24/7. However, the actress did pick up work again in 2019 with the Netflix series “Dead To Me.”

Hopefully, Applegate can continue in her stress-free route with her recent diagnosis. Thankfully, she has support from her loved ones and some of the biggest celebrities in the entertainment industry to keep her going.
