Ronald Isley tied the knot with the love of his life sixteen years ago, and they celebrated the milestone recently with pictures that were shared via their respective Instagram pages.

The picture Kandy shared on her page was an old one taken from their wedding day. They both looked happy and gorgeous as they stood close together with their hands clasped. He wore a stylish black tux while Kandy looked beautiful in her sleeveless ensemble.

In her caption, she thanked God for giving them the opportunity to celebrate another year of blissful marriage. Then, she posted the picture again on her story and edited it with a track from Nat King Cole titled "L–O–V–E."

Ronald shared a more recent picture of him with his wife; it featured the lovely couple dressed for an important outing. They both wore all-black outfits, and the love between both was palpable.

THE WEDDING WAS EXTREMELY LAVISH

Kandy and Ronald tied the knot in September 2005 after dating for more than a year. Their wedding was a lavish affair; Ron allegedly gifted his fiancé a $3 million necklace, on top of her $15,000 gown and 14-carat diamond ring.

All his efforts made his fans suspect that she was in the relationship for his money, but she clamped down on all that talk in an interview that saw her praising him for how romantic he is. Her statement implied that he did all he did of his volition to prove his love for her.

He proved just how romantic he was in 2013 when he revealed in an interview that his ideal date includes dinner and afterward a movie.

The only child they have together was born in December 2007 and was named Ronald Isley Jr. When Kandy welcomed the boy, Ronald was not present because he was sentenced to three years and a month of prison for tax evasion.

WHO IS KANDY ISLEY?

Kandy was born in 1977 and was also a recognized singer. She was a part of the American sister duo, JS (Johnson Sisters), with Kim Johnson.

As a group, they released their debut album, "Ice Cream," in July 2003. It was produced by music genius R.Kelly when he peaked his career in the early 2000s.

They only have one released album, but their careers as backup singers are not too bad either. The talented singer met Ronald when she started working as a backup singer for him.
