One Direction Star Liam Payne and Ex-fiancée Spark Reconciliation Rumors with St Tropez Trip

One Direction star Liam Payne and his ex-fiancée Maya Henry made headlines earlier this year for calling off their engagement. Now, it seems like they’re back together.

Liam Payne stole people’s hearts for the first time in 2010 when One Direction started making its way to becoming the most popular boy band in the world.

Every band member stayed on our radars even after their 2016 separation, which is why Payne and Maya Henry’s relationship has attracted so much attention.

They first sparked dating rumors in 2018 but understandably kept most details of their relationship under wraps. One year later, they publicly confirmed their romance.

Henry and Payne announced their engagement in September 2020, but things got complicated after that as he revealed he was single in June 2021.

The musician told Steven Bartlett on his podcast “The Diary of a CEO” that he felt disappointed in himself for hurting people, adding that he had not been good at relationships. Payne said:

“I’ve not really spent enough time on my own to really learn about myself. I honestly just needed a minute out to check myself.”

E! reported that their busy schedules were another reason for their separation as they had “distance between them” and were not “communicating well.”

Payne is not the only former member of One Direction who has attracted some attention lately.

In late July, just over a month after Payne told Bartlett that his actions were “hurting people,” he and Henry sparked reconciliation rumors.

The two were spotted at a poolside bar in Buckinghamshire, South East England, and according to The Sun, they were “touching each other,” “stroking arms, and flirting.”

Payne and Henry added fuel to their reconciliation rumors after being photographed leaving a yacht in St. Tropez in mid-August. They are supposedly living together in England but are taking things slowly and have no pressure to tie the knot.

Payne is not the only former member of One Direction who has attracted some attention lately. Zayn Malik and Gigi Hadid, who welcomed their daughter Khai in September 2020, have been sharing adorable photos of the baby on social media.

Although the couple has kept Khai’s face out of view, their followers have noticed how fast she has grown. It seems like it’s only a matter of time before the One Direction family gets bigger!
