Keyshia Cole & Sons Are 'Back at It' Enjoying Pool Time in Photos after Laying Her Late Mom Frankie to Rest

Keyshia Cole's sons Daniel Gibson Jr. and Tobias Khale enjoyed a fun experience at the pool with their mom in new pictures shared on their Instagram pages.

Keyshia Cole is a proud mom of two children. She shares a son named Daniel Gibson Jr. with former NBA player Daniel Gibson, who she married in 2011 but separated from in 2014 before their divorce was finalized last year.

While her divorce proceedings were ongoing, Cole started dating Niko Khale and welcomed a son named Tobias Khale with him on August 1, 2019. However, she and Niko split in October 2020.

Cole has prioritized caring for her kids above everything else and even retired from music to focus on raising Tobias, 2, and Daniel Jr., 11. The singer's sons share a close bond and recently showed the extent of their relationship in pictures shared on their Instagram pages.

Over the weekend, the adorable siblings spent time with their mom at the pool and shared photos of their fun time. A post on Tobias' Instagram had ten photos.

Most of the photos showed him and his older brother playing in the pool and enjoying tasty milkshakes. Two pictures in the post showed Cole joining her kids in the pool. She wore a white top and looked beautiful in her red low-cut hairstyle.

The caption to Tobias's post read, "Back at it! 💪🏽." Daniel Jr. shared more pictures of him and his brother's fun time at the pool. One of the snapshots in his post also featured his mom, showing her all smiles while playing with him and Tobias.

The "Heaven Sent" singer said losing her mom was hard, and she could not find the words to describe how she felt.

Little Tobias wore an olive green life jacket while playing in the water and held on to a small basketball. Meanwhile, Daniel Jr. wore a purple print T-shirt. He captioned the post:

"Here are some photos I like from me in the pool.:..::"

Seeing Cole playing with her kids in the pool pleased many fans, given that she is mourning the death of her biological mother, Frankie Lons.

Lons died in July, and Cole paid tribute to her via an Instagram post where she shared multiple pictures of the latter. The "Heaven Sent" singer said losing her mom was hard, and she could not find the words to describe how she felt.

Last week, the 39-year-old gave a final farewell to her late mom and shared Lons' funeral service pictures on her Instagram page.

Grieving her mom's demise in the presence of her kids was particularly hard for Cole, who admitted she struggled to do so with them. However, she managed to stay strong in the face of overwhelming grief.

Hence, it felt good to see a smile return to Cole's face while playing with her kids in the pool. Daniel Jr. and Tobias are undoubtedly her happiness and will give her many more reasons to smile.
