Rose Lenore was only a baby when her mother, Bonnie Lee Bakley, was killed, and her dad, Robert Blake, was accused of pulling the trigger. The terrible incident occurred in May 2001, and in 2005, the latter was charged with murder and solicitation of murder.

Eighteen years after her mother's death, Lenore was finally ready to confront her past and reached out to her actor father. In a chat, Lenore noted that she and Blake went through old photos from birthday parties, and they talked about memories of the former as a child.

Even though the teenager enjoyed the conversation, she admitted having no interest in the topic of her dad's trial. Lenore made it known that she asked Blake not to feed her on the information as she was not ready.

The young lady never thought about her mother's death or the killer, and according to her, she was still open to finding out the truth. Lenore said she had spent 19 years without knowing her mom's killer, and if she suddenly knew Blake killed his wife or not, it would be shocking.

The American actor and his wife first met each other in 1999 at a Jazz club. At the time, the latter was in a relationship with Marlon Brando's son, Christiano Brando, and ran a lonely hearts business.

A year later, Blake and Bakley got involved in a romantic relationship and welcomed Lenore in June. In November, the pair took their relationship a step further and officially tied the knot.

Explaining her ordeal while growing up, Lenore described the experience as traumatic.

The couple seemed to enjoy their marriage until May 4, 2001, when Blake and his wife had dinner at Vitello's in Studio City, California. According to Blake's statement to the police, the couple was walking to the car when he rushed back to the restaurant to grab a gun he had dropped on the table.

Blake noted that he saw his wife sitting in their car with two gunshot wounds when he came back out. After considering several suspects, the actor was arrested and charged with murder.

Following Blake's arrest, the actor's older daughter, Delinah, was granted permanent guardianship of Lenore. Blake spent almost a year in jail before he posted his $1.5million bail and was able to spend time with his little daughter.

After spending time with his daughter, Blake was eventually acquitted in March 2005 but was found civilly liable. Explaining her ordeal while growing up, Lenore described the experience as traumatic.

Raised by Delinah and her husband, Sherman Oaks, Lenore lived her life away from the spotlight. The raving beauty suffered depression, anxiety, and unwanted media fascination.

Despite experiencing a difficult childhood, Lenore holds the happy memories she shared with her dad close to her heart. These days, she dreams of pursuing a career in acting and lives with her boyfriend.
