'The Resident' Actress Emily Vancamp & Josh Bowman Secretly Welcome Their 1st Child – Fans Surprised
The couple managed to keep their pregnancy top secret and recently stunned fans when the actress announced the arrival of their bundle of joy with a sweet message.
Emily VanCamp and Josh Bowman are new parents of a baby girl named Iris; she revealed to her 1.2 million followers on Thursday, August 26, in an Instagram post writing:
"Welcome to the world, our sweet little Iris. Our hearts are full."

BIRTH SURPRISE!
The Canadian native shared black and white photos along with the post, with one showing a close-up of her hand holding onto her daughter’s tiny one.
She also shared a glimpse into her pregnancy journey with one shot displaying her and Bowman, 33, kissing and him cradling her then-pregnant tummy.

VanCamp also posted a solo shot giving fans a side view of her apparent belly bump wearing black leggings with matching socks and a black and white sweater.
Fans flooded the comments section with warm congratulatory messages, and because it was a surprise, one person said, "I'm devastated because I didn't know that, but I'm happy for you."
Another complimented the 35-year-old in response to her pregnancy snaps, "You’re the cutest pregnant person I’ve ever seen. Congrats to your precious family!!”
One individual shared she has been waiting for such good news from VanCamp and wrote, “I’ve been waiting for this day!!! CONGRATULATIONS Sending your family SO much love.”
LOVE STORY
“The Revenge” stars met on the hit show set back in 2011 and got engaged in 2017 after starring alongside each other for four seasons on the ABC drama.
After playing a couple on the TV series, the lovebirds officially walked down the aisle in real life in the Bahamas in December 2018. On their wedding anniversary, VanCamp wrote on Instagram:
"The perfect day exactly two years go. Thank you for the best adventures, my love. Happy Anniversary."
Just earlier this month, the “Everwood” alum revealed to People how she has enjoyed being able to spend some quality time with her husband amid the ongoing pandemic.
“I don’t think we’d ever spent that much time together ever in 10 years we’ve been together,” she said. While adding that they have discovered what it is like just being in each other's company all the time through the good and bad and shared, luckily, "We like each other a lot."
