Youtuber-turned-boxer Jake Paul is on cloud nine as he recently beat former UFC welterweight champion, Tyron Woodley, by split decision in a boxing match.

The match lasted for 8 rounds and, in the end, the judges scored 77-75, 78-74 in Jake Paul's favor, and 77-75 for Woodley. However, despite the win, it was no easy match for the influencer.

The stakes were quite high as this was Paul's toughest opponent yet since Woodley still has a very impressive knockout power despite being 39 years old.

WOODLEY ALMOST HAD IT

The match was quite balanced and those who didn't get the opportunity to watch it certainly missed the most exciting moment of the night - when Woodley rocked Paul.

Taking a riskier and more aggressive approach than Woodley might have guaranteed Paul the win, scoring more points than his opponent, but it didn't save him from a scare in the fourth round.

The 24-year-old was clobbered by Woodley and the ropes were the only thing that stopped Paul from hitting the floor. Although dazed, he survived the impact.

In the end, the packed Rocket Mortgaged FieldHouse in Cleaveland, Ohio, saw "The Problem Child" take home his fourth career win as a professional boxer, standing now at 4 wins and no losses.

A PERFECT STREAK

Paul's first fight was against fellow Youtuber, AnEsonGib, which he won by TKO. Next came former NBA player Nate Robinson, whom he knocked out in the second round.

Ben Askren, a retired MMA fighter, was Paul's third opponent. Askren was supposed to be his most challenging opponent at the time but Paul quickly dispatched Askren at 1:59 in the first round.

PRESS CONFERENCE BRAWL

As aforementioned, there was a lot at stake, especially after all the trash talk between Paul and Woodley, which also ended up involving the latter's mother.

During the heated press conference, a member of Paul's team threw some distasteful comments towards "Mama Woodley" as the fighters stared each other down.

This led to several other team members getting involved and Woodley, after realizing what just happened, only got angrier. Security had to intervene in order to stop the situation from escalating.
