Despite leaving the popular reality show "Real Housewives of Atlanta," NeNe Leakes felt the love and support from her old stars, who reached out to her in their numbers following the death of her husband.
Friends and co-stars took to social media to pen down their love to the reality star whose husband Gregg Leakes lost his long-time battle with cancer. His death was announced yesterday, September 1.

A spokesperson confirmed that Gregg passed peacefully surrounded by his loved ones, children, and wife, NeNe. The statement asked fans to respect the family's request for privacy as they mourn their loss.
Shortly after the post was shared, Bravo stars and fellow Housewives took to their social media to show their support and send their condolences to the grieving Leakes family.

Popular show host and friend of the Leakes, Andy Cohen, penned a touching tribute on his Twitter, describing the loss as heartbreaking. He wrote:
"I jokingly called him 'Pastor Leakes,' but in truth he was a strong voice of reason & commanded great respect among the entire #RHOA team."
Porsha Williams shared a series of pics of the late Gregg on her Instagram, noting that it was a piece of heartbreaking news to hear of Gregg's passing. She sent her love and prayers to NeNe and the Leakes family.
Bravo star Kim Zolciak Biermann shared a picture of Gregg on her Instagram, mourning his death as tragic. She described Gregg as peaceful and kind. Biermann called Gregg the peaceful voice of reason, noting that he would be missed.
A few days before Gregg's death, NeNe opened up on his health in a video.
Sending a message of support, Sherri Shepherd shared a touching tweet as a tribute to Gregg. The actress expressed her sadness at the 66-year-old's death and wished the Leakes family all the love and support.
Actress Cynthia Bailey joined the list of celebrities mourning Gregg's death. She wrote on her Twitter page, "Heartbroken. [...] Gregg was always so loving, funny & kind. So blessed to have had him in my life. Sending my heartfelt condolences to @NeNeLeakes and her family."
Gregg Leakes died at age 66 and was a regular feature on the reality show "The Real Housewives of Atlanta" alongside his wife, NeNe.
A few days before Gregg's death, NeNe opened up on his health in a video shared on social media where she confirmed that her husband was transitioning to the other side.
The actress also shared an image of the word "Broken" on her Instagram with the prayer and heartbroken emoji.
Gregg was first diagnosed with stage three colon cancer in 2018, and after being declared cancer-free, the illness returned in 2021, leading to his death. NeNe and Gregg shared two adult sons during their marriage.
