Supermodel Claudia Schiffer recently showed how much she has retained her beauty through the years. She posed beside her fashionable picture taken back in the '90s. Check out her incredible snap.
At 51, legendary catwalk queen Claudia Schiffer is blessed with an age-defying youthful beauty. The German supermodel was one of the famous faces on fashion runways back in the 1990s.
Schiffer continues to revisit her glorious modeling days. She recently shared a picture and a video on Instagram featuring one of her fashionable photos decades ago.
The picture and the clip showed the supermodel-turned-fashion designer standing beside a large black-and-white photo of herself, pouting while holding a doll. A fan quickly commented:
"Prettiest woman ever, she's so perfect!"
Schiffer, who donned a daisy-printed dress and black thigh-high boots, noted that her old photo is among the pictures featured at the exhibit, "Captivate! Fashion Photography of the 90s."
The veteran model stated that the recently-opened fashion photography exhibit is being held at the Kunstpalast Museum in Düsseldorf, Germany, which will run until January 2022.
Now past 50, Schiffer said she is not afraid of aging; she embraces it.
Currently living abroad, Schiffer added she was supposed to open for the event, but that did not happen. Towards the end of her message, she also shared about her upcoming coffee table book.
This year, Schiffer will release her coffee table book, "Captivate!", which takes readers on a curated photographic journey about fashion from the 1990s, known as the most glamorous decade.
The book, which will be available in October, features over 150 images, some of which are Schiffer's unseen pictures, as well as other supermodels, including Cindy Crawford and Kate Moss.
Schiffer started modeling in 1987 after being discovered by an agent. She appeared on the cover of British Vogue at the age of 19 and became the world's highest-paid supermodel at 21.
Although she found fame early, she stayed humble in her career. She previously wrote for CNN a reflective piece about being called an icon, saying that it is a different concept to fame and celebrity.
Now past 50, Schiffer said she is not afraid of aging; she embraces it. She shared that to age is something to be celebrated, adding that everything will fall into place if a person is healthy and happy.
Schiffer has been happily married to her husband, film director Matthew Vaughn since 2002. The couple shares three children: 18-year-old son Caspar and daughters Clementine, 15, and Cosima, 11.
