Woman Breaks Down in Tears after Being Fat-Shamed over Her Skirt
When a bride-to-be decided to share her weight loss journey on TikTok, she also included a video reflecting an upsetting experience she faced recently. She was fat-shamed after wearing a mini-skirt.
A woman recently wore a skirt that made her feel good about herself and her appearance. Sadly, not everyone agreed, and someone chose to shame her for the outfit.
A clip posted in April showed Hannah Woodhams, who had been detailing her health journey online. Her efforts were all in preparation for her 2022 wedding, but she was overcome with emotion in the video because of a rude comment.

HER CONFIDENCE WAS SHATTERED
Woodhams told her followers that she was wearing a short skirt because she had lost more than 38 kilos. In the video, she showed off a checkered skirt.
She said that she had never been confident enough to go out in public with an outfit like that before. Unfortunately, this newfound confidence was shattered in an instant.
FAT-SHAMED
Someone's rude comment left her teary-eyed. The TikToker shared: "So today I was fat-shamed, I was in shock and couldn't even respond. This is my outfit after feeling so good about myself losing six stone (about 38 kilos)."
The woman showed her followers an unfiltered version of herself, and in between tears, she expressed that the nasty comment made her feel like she was "21 stone (about 133 kg) again."
ONLINE REACTIONS
With millions of views and reactions, people sent in messages of love and upliftment. One person said she was doing great and looked "incredible" in the video.
Others encouraged her to ignore the shamers. A netizen said: "One thing I learned is that insecure people will look down on you BECAUSE that's the only way they can feel like they're better."

KEEPING HERSELF ACCOUNTABLE
The bride-to-be's account features a range of clips that chronicle her life and journey before her wedding. There is footage of her training and eating healthy.
The TikToker indicated the videos were an attempt to keep herself accountable. In a follow-up clip, she said the reaction to her video was utterly unexpected. While some said she was seeking attention by crying, she defended herself.
NEVER THOUGHT HER VIDEO WOULD GO VIRAL
Before the viral video, Woodham said that her content only got around "400 views" and "about 18 likes." She explained that she never imagined the video would go viral.
She added:
"The thought of me posting a video crying because I was fat-shamed and it blowing up to 1.3million views was not what I expected."
ASTONISHED BY THE REACTION
Woodham was blown away by the love and support she got in response to her emotional video. The TikToker said that the encouragement she had received online still "astonishes" her.
Most of the comments were uplifting, and Woodham was extremely grateful to everyone that offered her kind words. She continues to document her weight loss journey on TikTok.
