Bethenny Frankel Calls Tom Girardi’s Legal Issues the ‘Worst Kept Secret’ after Exposing He Owes Her Money

Just when fans thought things could not get any worse for Erika and Tom Girardi, Bethenny Frankel spills some beans. The former Bravo star reveals she has known of their issues for years.

The plot thickens regarding Tom Girardi’s much-reported legal battles that have played out on TV these past few months. While many “Real Housewives” stars were shocked about the scandal, Bethenny Frankel reveals she was not.

During a podcast episode, the “RHONY” alum opened up about what she knew of Girardi’s financial issues. She even shockingly revealed that she might be a victim of the former lawyer’s wrongdoings.

It has been a rough few months for “RHOBH” star Erika Jayne and her ex-husband Girardi. The pair have been the subject of headlines since the latter was accused of embezzling millions from his clients.

Although Girardi’s case was already shocking, what makes it worse is that his clients were vulnerable people. Most of them were widows and orphans of plane crash victims who he represented in court.

Fans and “RHOBH” stars have been looking to Jayne for answers regarding the cases over the past few weeks. Additionally, the TV personality has been questioned about how much she knew about Girardi’s illegal activities.

Jayne has profusely denied any knowledge of her ex-husband’s wrongdoings on her show and in court. Unfortunately, her word is starting to look a bit questionable with Frankel’s recent revelations that implicate her.

During her podcast, Frankel revealed her late fiance Dennis Shields told her that Girardi owed him $500,000. She added that he elaborated by explaining that he owed “everyone” money but was caught up with supporting Jayne’s lifestyle:

"I said, 'Why would he do that?' He goes, 'He can't say no to her,'"

To add insult to the wound Frankel just opened up for Jayne, a new episode of “RHOBH” shows her co-stars doubting her stories. Kyle Richards and Dorit Kemsley were caught cackling while recounting yet another one of Jayne’s tales.

From the clip, fans can see that the two women do not believe a word of Jayne’s story. Of course, that part of Wednesday’s episode did not sit well with Jayne, who sarcastically tweeted that she felt great watching it.

Since the case unfolded, Jayne has been accused of divorcing Girardi as a sham to protect some of their money. She has also been sued for $25 million by Girardi’s firm’s bankruptcy case special litigation counsel.
