Bethenny Frankel Gushes over Her 'Intimate' Engagement to Film Producer Paul Bernon

“The Real Housewives of New York” alum Bethenny Frankel is head over heels in love with her new fiancé Paul Bernon whom she gushed over and called a beautiful person.

Bethenny Frankel gushed over her intimate engagement to film producer Paul Bernon. The 50-year-old raved about her future husband and the engagement ring he picked up for her on the latest episode of the "People Every Day" podcast.

“The ring is stunning. It’s gorgeous. Paul's an absolutely beautiful person, and it's an exciting, fun time," said Frankel.

WEDDING BELLS

The reality star and the film producer got engaged earlier this year. In April, she shared that it was an intimate proposal in Florida back in February.

“Just the two of us, on an island off to Florida. No makeup, no manicure, no ring photos. It was very simple and beautiful,” she shared at the time.

Diamond expert Mike Fried previously told People that the ring appears to be a 15-carat plus emerald cut center stone flanked by trapezoid side stones.

Fried said the value should be at least $1 million in terms of how much it costs. Frankel and Bernon started dating in 2018. They met through a dating app.

Apart from being in the media business, Bernon is also a real estate developer. The 43-year-old has two degrees under his belt: a Bachelor of Arts degree in film studies and a Master’s Degree in Real Estate.

He obtained his first qualification from Boston University and his second from New York University. Currently, Bernon resides in a different state than his fiancée, who still lives in New York.

OFFICIALLY DIVORCED

The news of the couple's engagement comes after Frankel and his now-former spouse Jason Hoppy finalized their divorce. The pair were married for nine years.

On January 20, a judge officially signed off on the former couple’s judgment of divorce. Hoppy, 50, and the entrepreneur share 10-year-old daughter Brynx.

RELATIONSHIPS TIMELINE

Over the years, Frankel has had her fair share of relationship troubles as she has been married twice. The TV personality’s first marriage was to Peter Sussman, an entertainment executive.

They tied the knot in 1996 following two years of dating but had known each other for five years. They married in front of 150 guests in Los Angeles but divorced a year later.

She then moved on to Hoppy, and they walked down the aisle in March 2010. The former couple welcomed their only child together two months later.

However, their romance went downhill as rumors of trouble in paradise started swirling, as reported by Champagne and Shade. After less than three years, Frankel filed for divorce in January 2013, which became messy and involved custody battles and drug abuse accusations.

FRANKEL ON AGING

Aside from all of the ups and downs in her relationships, she still looks gorgeous as ever for her age. Frankel revealed to People about the aging process and how she embraces it.

The New Yorker said she does not care about being in her fifties, adding she does not understand why other people lie about their age.

As for beauty enhancements, Frankel shared she has had a breast lift and believes in Botox because she has had the size of her jaw decreased. She also grinds her teeth.
