Former WWE wrestler Ronda Rousey welcomed her first child with her husband, Travis Browne. The couple shared the news and her unique name on Instagram this week.
Ronda Rousey and her husband, Travis Browne, took to Instagram this week to share that they welcomed their first child, a daughter named La'akea Makalapuaokalanipō Browne.
The couple, who married in August 2017 in Browne's home state of Hawai'i, shared the same two adorable photos of their little one to announce her arrival on their respective Instagram accounts.

One photo shows Rousey holding her baby girl under her white shirt while La'akea's hand rests on her chest. The second photo shows the couple's newborn resting her arm on her father's tattooed arm.
Both parents kept their announcement messages short. Rousey wrote her daughter's full name and added a red heart emoji, while Browne welcomed his daughter into the world writing:
"Welcome to this world La’akea Makalapuaokalanipō Browne. You are so incredibly loved!"

Both posts gained a lot of love and support from Rousey and Browne's fans and friends. Rousey gained over 500,000 likes on her post and many congratulatory comments.
Rousey has been open about her pregnancy after the couple announced they were expecting a baby on her YouTube channel in April in a video titled, "Ronda Rousey and Travis Browne Have An Announcement."
Rousey's pregnancy and the birth of her child came after she cleared up pregnancy rumors in January 2019.
In the video, Browne and Rousey addressed the camera and explained that Rousey's pregnancy was starting to show, and because they could not hide it anymore, they would instead show it off.
The video incorporated different clips from footage of the couple experiencing the pregnancy and learning about their baby together. At the end of the video, Rousey shared her excitement for the baby's arrival:
"We're really excited for you all to meet [the baby] just like we are. ... Baddest baby on the planet coming to you soon, September 22!"
Three months later, in July, Rousey was candid about the worries and excitement she experienced while waiting for the baby to be born. On the one hand, she was excited to see who the baby was and who she would be similar to.
However, she also noted the harsh reality of being pregnant as she explained she had never felt so exhausted and unmotivated before. Rousey even admitted to having trouble breathing at times.
The WWE wrestler then thanked Browne, who is also a mixed martial artist, for supporting her. Browne sounds like the perfect pregnancy partner as Rousey revealed all of the helpful things he did for her.
Rousey's pregnancy and the birth of her child came after she cleared up pregnancy rumors in January 2019 that she was leaving the wrestling world to start a family. She said point blankly that reporters should leave her and her reproductive plans and health alone.
