Helen Mirren Dazzles in Black Ensemble for L'Oreal Runway at Paris Fashion Week

English actress Helen Mirren was the star of the Paris Fashion show this past weekend. She led fellow celebrities on the catwalk runway for L’Oreal.

Helen Mirren led the L’Oreal runway at Paris Fashion Week on Sunday, October 3. For the event, she stunned in a fitted patterned black suit, covered in intricate silver sequin detailing all over the jacket and trouser combo.

She wore matching studded platform heels with the outfit. The 76-year-old opted for dramatic makeup as she helped the brand unveil their Spring-Summer 2022 range.

WALKING THE RUNWAY

Despite the bad weather on the afternoon of the occasion, the Academy Award winner told Elle that weather conditions were the least of her worries, saying she was more concerned about her heels:

"I'm English. I can do this. I'll be stomping down like a giant. I love them because it's lovely to suddenly be a few inches taller, especially when you’re surrounded by all these gazelles.”

Mirren was joined by fellow L’Oreal ambassadors Camilla Cabello and Amber Heard and models Isabeli Fontana, Soo Joo Park, and Liya Kebede.

The show was staged overlooking the Eiffel Tower and marked the 50th anniversary of the L’Oreal tagline ‘Because you’re worth it.' It aimed to celebrate women's empowerment and showcase the L’Oreal Stand Up Against Street Harassment cause.

THE STYLE

Singer Cabello looked effortless in an ivory dress covered in a floral pattern in hues of pink and green. Her ensemble featured a black band detail around the midriff and got tied around her neck in a loose bow. She paired the look with black slip-on heels.

As for the “Aquaman" star, Heard rocked a plunging pale pink jumpsuit, which featured dramatic feathered details on the shoulders and split sleeves.

WALKING THE RED CARPET

Apart from the glamorous event, Mirren attended the Venice film festival last month and walked the red carpet in a gorgeous Dolce & Gabbana garment.

The star of “The Queen” went for a long turquoise dress that featured long sleeves that perfectly showed off her curves while she held on to the tip of her outfit.

She paired the look with sparkling jewelry as she wore a matching lime green ring with matching dangling earrings and opted for natural makeup.

Mirren posed for a picture and was all smiles as she wore her blonde locks down paired with a headpiece atop her head that matched her entire style look.
