His large number of kids is often a topic of discussion. However, the actor also appears to be enjoying the title "grandfather." Eddie loves being a grandparent as much as his ex-wife, Nicole Mitchell Murphy. The pair are doting grandparents to a two-year-old girl, Evie.

Two days ago, Evie's mother, Carly Olivia, took to her Instagram page to showcase the artistic side of her daughter. She shared four images that saw the infant clad in a yellow T-shirt and a denim pinafore, rocking her short curly hair.

In the first slide, little Evie looked very excited as she gazed at the camera in delight, wearing a very broad smile on her face. Flaunting her artistic skills, the adorable tot held her first painting on a canvas.

Other slides featured the happy Evie donning the same outfit, holding her artwork, and striking various poses. In the caption that accompanied the snapshots, Olivia wrote:

"First painting in art class, she's so proud 😫🥺🥰."

Shortly after Olivia posted the pictures, fans and followers were taken aback by Evie's cuteness and talent and took to the comments section to make their thoughts known.

Evie was born to Olivia and Eddie's son, Miles Mitchell Murphy, on July 2, 2019. Since her arrival, the little girl has been nothing but a joy not only to her parents but her extended relations.

Family members have made it a point of duty to commemorate Evie's special milestones, and Nicole is not an exception. Last year, the child celebrated her first birthday, and proud grandma Nicole made a lovely post for her granddaughter.

The former model updated her Instagram fans with a stunning picture of little Evie wearing a white spaghetti strap dress. Nicole's granddaughter also had a headband on and sat quietly, looking away from the camera. Captioning the post, Nicole wrote:

WHO ARE EDDIE MURPHY'S KIDS?

Besides having an extensive career in Hollywood, Eddie is blessed with ten children. He welcomed his first child, Eric Murphy, with his then-girlfriend, Paulette McNeely, on July 10, 1989.

Four months after the arrival of his first child, Eddie welcomed his second child and daughter, Bria Murphy, with his former spouse, Nicole, on November 18, 1989. Not long after Bria was born, Eddie's relationship with Nicole came to a halt.

After his breakup with Nicole, the "Coming To America" star became romantically involved with Tamara Hood, and on November 29, 1990, they became parents to Eddie's third child, Christian Murphy.

The father of ten and Hood's relationship was short-lived, and the pair went their separate ways. Eddie eventually got back with Nicole, and the couple welcomed their second child together, Miles Mitchell Murphy, on November 7, 1992.

Eddie and Nicole's love for each other got more profound, and they took their relationship to the next step. In 1993, they finally walked down the aisle, and on October 10, 1994, their third child, Shayne Audra Murphy, was born.

The comedian and his ex-wife's fourth child, Zola Ivy Murphy, arrived on Christmas Eve in 1999. Then on January 29, 2002, Eddie's seventh child, and the couple's fifth child, Bella Zhara Murphy, made her debut into the world.

Four years after welcoming Bella, Eddie and Nicole called it quits on their marriage. However, the award-winning actor did not call it quits on having more children. On April 3, 2007, he celebrated the arrival of his eighth child, Angel Iris Murphy, with his famous baby mama, Mel B.

While many thought the icon would stop having kids, Eddie shocked the world by welcoming his ninth child, Izzy Oona Murphy, with his girlfriend, Paige Butcher, on May 3, 2016.

On November 30, 2018, a few months before Evie was born, the producer became a father for the tenth time after welcoming the youngest of the Murphy clan, Max Charles Murphy.

Eddie and Butcher named their son Charles as a tribute to the comedian's older brother, Charlie Murphy, who died of leukemia in 2018.
