ENDING THE MARRIAGE
Chrisley announced in July that she and Campbell were parting ways after being married for nine years. The podcast host revealed on social media that she and her now-former husband mutually decided to end their marriage, noting they still love and respect each other:
"We're so grateful for our time together. We will continue to remain friends and be devoted parents to our son, whom we both love very much."
BITTERSWEET MEMORIES
Late last month, Chrisley shared an emotional update about the father of her child. Taking to Instagram, she posted a picture of herself embracing Campbell.
The star revealed he had taken their son Jackson on a trip by himself, adding it was a bittersweet moment because they went on the same trip as a family the year before.
In the post, she explained she spent several days listening to Jackson’s adventures with his father and was thankful for the memories they made together.
Chrisley shared what she learned over the last few months amid her divorce was that life is too ironic to understand fully and said it takes sadness to know what happiness is.
DAD'S COMMENTS
Meanwhile, in August, her estranged father, Todd Chrisley, publicly commented on her decision to end her marriage. However, she was taken aback to learn he did so.
She shared she was shocked that he shared her business on social media when they did not even have each other's numbers. The mom of one revealed her dad blocked her on Instagram so she could not see the post first hand.
Todd wrote he was praying for his daughter amid her divorce and would protect her from anything or anyone who tries to harm her. In addition, he said he was stronger than depression and anxiety and braver than loneliness.
