Amirah O'Neal was once best known for being NBA star Shaquille O'Neal's daughter with TV personality Shaunie. However, she's now making a name for herself not just in the basketball world, but in the modeling world as well.

Born Amirah Sanaa O'Neal on November 13, 2001, it comes with no surprise that she started playing basketball at the age of 10. She has the best person to look up to, as her dad has a total of 4 NBA championship rings.

HER BASKETBALL CAREER

Amirah was a basketball player at Louisiana State University, a decision that she and her dad decided on together as it was also his alma mater. Her brother Shareef also transferred to LSU from the University of California Los Angeles.

LOOKING LIKE A MODEL

Aside from her basketball career, Amirah also enjoys modeling on social media, and she has a growing following base of over 100 thousand followers. She takes after her dad, standing tall at 6'2", and this has been advantageous to her both as an athlete and as a model.

More recently, she posted a photo of herself in a black cardigan and skirt ensemble that showed off her flat belly. She accessorized her look with a pair of strappy heels, highlighting her long legs.

Before her university life, Amirah played for Crossroads High School in Santa Monica, California, where she averaged 17.2 points per game. Now, she hopes to continue her career in basketball until she decides to retire and focus elsewhere.

He also has a son named Myles, who is Shaunie's son with a former partner. Despite this fact, Shaq loves and treats him like his own child.

The basketball legend and the reality TV star share four biological children together, Me'arah, Shaqir, Amirah, and Shareef. The couple was married in 2002, and they eventually called it quits in 2011.

SHAUNIE AND SHAQ'S CO-PARENTING

Ultimately, Shaq and Shaunie are doing the best they can in co-parenting their children. In fact, while it took a long time to get to where they are today, their co-parenting relationship can be described as "great."

They are now more comfortable being honest with one another and sharing what's going on in their lives. In fact, she admitted that sometimes, they'd even share details about their personal lives despite not being together anymore.

RESPECTING ONE ANOTHER AS FRIENDS

Shaunie acknowledged that it's none of her business if Shaq chooses to date, the same way it's not his business if she chooses to see someone. However, she acknowledges that when that happens, she believes they will both respect each other. She said:

"But if we get in relationships that we're going to go to that next level, we definitely will let each other know ... and support it in the best way we can."

Although their roller-coaster relationship ended in divorce, they remain on great terms for their children. After everything they've been through, the O'Neal family can often be seen posing for photos together and sharing their many different milestones on social media.
