Married and divorced, the actress has a completely different view on marriage. She opened up about it during her appearance on "Red Table Talk" with hosts Jada Pinkett Smith, Willow Smith, and Adrienne Banfield-Norris.

The "Ocean's 8" actress talked about her new approach to marriage concerning her partner, Bryan Randall. Bullock and Randall have been together for six years, and to fans' disappointment, they never married.

FINDING HER TRUE LOVE

The "The Heat" star said when she met Randall, she found the love of her life. The actress, however, revealed that she does not need to marry her partner to stay devoted to him. She mused:

"I don't wanna say do it like I do it, but I don't need a paper to be a devoted partner and devoted mother."

Speaking on the Facebook show, she said she does not need to be told to be present for her partner during hard times. The most important thing about marriage is always being there for the kids, even if the marriage fails.

The couple began their romance journey in 2015, after Randall, a professional photographer, took photographs of Bullock's son, Louis.

After dating for less than a year, Randall moved into Bullock's home, even though he still had his own place. The new couple made their red carpet debut at the "Our Brand is Crisis" premiere in Los Angeles that October.

Their love and devotion to each other are undeniable, and the two have supported each other through thick and thin. Randall became Bullock's most significant support when she lost her father in 2018.

Randall is the perfect example of the man Bullock wants her children to emulate. They remain unmarried but are not entirely closed off to the possibility of one day walking down the aisle.

BULLOCK'S PREVIOUS MARRIAGE

Unlike her current relationship, Bullock's marriage to her ex-husband Jesse James happened within two years of dating. Like any relationship, theirs was a combination of highs, lows, and lots of memories.

The "Monster Garage" host and "The Blind Side" actress met in 2003, and by 2005 they were married. The first few years of the union were happy ones.

Things, however, took a turn for the worse when in 2010, multiple women began reporting to have had affairs with James. James apologized publicly, but Bullock was not ready to move past it. She filed for divorce that same year.

Despite the failed marriage, today, the Oscar winner basks in the love she found with Randall as they raise the children together.
