Wearing a VR headset, Ji-sung walked towards her little girl. She reached out for her, and the little girl reassured her mother. She told her that she was in a better place. Ji-sung expressed

"I met Nayeon, who called me with a smile, for a very short time, but it's a very happy time. I think I've had the dream I've always wanted."

THE SPECIAL VR EXPERIENCE

The team worked on the project for months, and they were able to recreate Nayeon's face, body, and voice. The mother who lost her child in 2016 could not believe how realistic the experience was and praised the VR technology.

In the clip, the little girl said: "Mom, where have you been? Did you think about me?" The mother told her child that she thought about her and missed her a lot.

COMFORT FOR OTHERS

The pair held hands as the tears streamed down Ji-sung's face. The rest of their family witnessed the encounter, and the father, brother, and sister were also overcome with emotion. The mother agreed to be part of the documentary for a purpose.

She hoped other parents who also lost someone special would find some comfort after seeing the encounter. The mother held a birthday party with Nayeon as an honored guest as part of the reunion.
