As part of the divorce settlement, the Grammy-winning record producer, Stevie Aaron Jordan, asks the court to order his estranged singer wife, Faith Evans, to pay spousal support after she reportedly cheated on him.

The successful record producer wants Evans to give him a monthly payment. In addition to that, Stevie asked the court not to allow her to collect anything from him.

In the legal documents obtained by "The Blast," Stevie confirms that they tied the knot in July 2018 but separated in October 2021. He cited their reason for splitting up as "irreconcilable differences."

Since the two did not have any children, child support was out of the question. In the divorce filings, Stevie checked the box reading "spousal or domestic partner support payable."

He also marked the box that terminated the court's ability to award any support to his estranged wife. However, in a confusing turn of events, just a week after the divorce filing, the couple seemed happy in each other's company as they soaked up the sun at a beach in Malibu.

GETTING BACK TOGETHER?

The posts sparked rumors of a possible reconciliation as they seemed to be having plenty of fun. Evans posted clips of the couple doing hand flips together on the beach, leaving their fans confused.

In one other clip, the "Soon As I Get Home" songstress cheered on her husband by giddily clapping her hands. She later tagged Stevie on the Instagram posts.

PUBLIC HUMILIATION

Barely a week after the two were frolicking in Malibu, a video leaked of the famed music producer accusing the "Love Like This" singer of cheating on him.

In the video, which leaked accidentally, Stevie and his wife are in a heated argument, and Stevie accuses the songstress of bringing men to their shared home.

He went ahead and called her unprintable names, then provoked her into an argument with a camera in her face. Evans tried to cover the camera and go to sleep.

After the video went viral, Stevie, once again, came out to publically apologize for "publicly humiliating" his wife, saying that whatever he'd said in the video was in the spur of the moment.

In the apology video, he addressed Evans as "Mrs. J," saying she was not a cheat and he was sorry for the humiliation. He asked Evans to forgive him and to always know that he loved her and would always be there for her.

The unfolding events have left fans confused about whether the two are getting the divorce or reconciling and putting the past month's happenings behind them.
