Martha Stewart has been through an array of careers. She entered the workforce as a model, then later switched to stockbroking. Today, she features on the HGTV show "Martha Knows Best."

Famous as she is, she has been very private about her love life since she divorced her husband back in the '90s. However, on a recent episode of "Watch What Happens Live with Andy Cohen," she hinted that she was dating.

After her divorce from her husband, Stewart dated several other prominent people in the industry, but none of her relationships culminated in marriage.

In 1991, she dated movie star Anthony Hopkins. But after his role as the serial killer, Hannibal Lecter, in "Silence of the Lambs," Stewart could not get over his character, and the two split up.

Stewart also dated billionaire Charles Simonyi for about 15 years. They never got married. Last summer, after she posted a pool selfie, the photo became an instant hit, and she began receiving direct messages from eligible bachelors.

The "Martha Stewart's Christmas" author disclosed that she was not looking to engage with any proposals. Instead, she wanted to enjoy her "instant fame" from the selfie.

She joked that that could be why she has been unmarried for so long. But while none of the interested parties tagged at her heart, she soon started dating her secret man, not long after that.

HER ONLY MARRIAGE

Stewart married Andrew Stewart in 1961, and together, they had one child. Despite her marriage lasting close to three decades, it was not always rosy.

According to an unauthorized biography of Stewart written by Jerry Oppenheimer, the Daytime EmmyAwards winner did not treat her husband right and was the constant cause of anxiety, pain, and stress for her him.

According to DailyMail, as reported by The Sun, Stewart would often accuse Andrew of being "stupid" or "dumb." Constantly, their household would be brimming with long hostility-filled silences.

In 1987, to the shock of many, Andrew moved out of their home and allegedly got a court order forbidding Stewart from speaking to him. Three years later, their divorce was finalized.

Their only daughter, Alexis, is a radio personality and television host. She also followed in her mother's footsteps and became the author of "Whateverland: Learning to Live Here."
