CELEBRATING HER BIRTHDAY IN STYLE

In November, Eve celebrated her 43rd birthday in style. The photos taken on her special day included one where she was on a nature stroll with her husband. She was in a gray sweater that hugged her stomach.

The former "The Talk" host is a stepmother to Maximillion's kids, Mini, 13, Cash, 15, Jagger, 17, and Lotus, 19, from his previous marriage. Since she married her husband in 2014, they have longed to have a child between them.

STRUGGLE WITH INFERTILITY

But fate had other plans. After trying for a long time, she had a surgical procedure done to remove fibroids and increase her chances of conceiving.

The procedure seems to have stood between her and her blessing because she made the happy announcement a year later.

On a recent episode of "The Talk," the "Love is Blind" rapper opened up about the struggle with infertility and the emotional toll it had taken on her and her husband. She said, as reported by Essence:

"Obviously, I've talked about my struggle with getting pregnant, and I didn't talk about it for a long time because I felt shameful."

She recalls feeling damaged and broken from not being able to conceive. For years, she fought with thoughts of not being good enough.

Sharing her struggles with her former cohosts, she said what kept her afloat was the women that surrounded her with solidarity and love. Her friends Naturi and Brandy speaking out for her made all the difference during the tough times.

And when Sharon Osbourne said she knew a woman who'd conceived at 50, Eve knew she still had a chance to one day be a mother. The couple will welcome their baby home in February. They already have two name options for their baby.
