Eve Celebrates Baby Shower with Husband Maximillion Cooper despite Revealing Doctors Said She Would Never Get Pregnant

Eve has been through a rough patch after doctors told her she would not get pregnant. But now, the reality TV show star has reason to smile. She threw a beautiful baby shower to celebrate her pregnancy.

Eve Jihan Cooper, mononymously known as Eve, opened up about her infertility journey on "The Tamron Hall Show," saying she has struggled to get pregnant for years.

A visit to the doctor revealed that she had fibroids, so the uterus already "thought" she was pregnant. The doctors disclosed that she would never carry a pregnancy, no matter how many rounds of IVF she got.

HER LONG BATTLE WITH INFERTILITY

The news was devastating to Eve and her husband Maximillion Cooper, and so she underwent a surgical procedure to remove the fibroids. A year later, the mother-to-be is celebrating the light at the end of the tunnel.

Her journey has been rough, and for years, Eve says she felt like she was not good enough. The fact that her body could not carry out a natural process weighed down on her.

The "Got What You Need" singer shared her struggles, saying she often felt damaged and broken. She did not open up about her journey for a long time because she felt ashamed.

Even though she recognizes now that it was a sad and hurtful thing to go through, she acknowledges that many women deal with the same problems but are too ashamed to speak up about it.

CELEBRATING A NEW BEGINNING

And now, after so many years of struggling, Eve and her husband finally get to celebrate their pregnancy. In October, the former "The Talk" host posted her pregnancy announcement on her Instagram, recalling how long she and her husband had waited for that moment.

The baby shower photos captured a glowing Eve cradling her belly surrounded by her closest friends. She had on a silk burgundy dress that showed off her growing blessing.

Present to celebrate the milestones were her husband and her mother, Julia Wilch-Jeffers. Also present were her costars on "Queens" Naturi Naughton and Nadine Velazquez. The photos accompanied a caption that read:

"Can you believe it, @mrgumball3000 we finally get to tell everyone!!!!! ❤️ You all know how long we'v [sic] been waiting for this blessing!!!"

Her husband mirrored her excitement when he reposted the photos, saying they were excited about the tiny human on the way.

The couple expects their bundle of joy in February. Their baby will be Eve's first, but the fifth in the family as the actress is already a stepmother to Cooper's four children from a previous marriage.
