Tichina Arnold is a proud mother! Her only daughter, Alijah Kai, took the crowd by storm with her vocals when she performed Tevin Campbell's "Can We Talk."

Tichina Arnold is a renowned singer, and it comes as no surprise that Alijah Kai has taken after her strong vocals. During a November episode of vocal coach Stevie Mackey's "Taco Tuesday," she showcased just how good her voice is to the audience.

The video shows the braided and denim-clad 17-year-old vocalizing the 1993 hit song and doing it justice. The video has become a fan favorite and has since racked up thousands of views.

LIKE MOTHER, LIKE DAUGHTER

Kai is the spitting image of her mother, but away from looks, the two resemble in other ways, including their love for music. Often, they sing together, be it on car rides or when just relaxing at home.

In a 2020 video that wowed many, the mother of one was driving her daughter to school when they both began singing along to Beyoncé's "Party."

The two rocked to the song as they drove around, and in a sweet caption accompanying the short clip posted on Arnold's Instagram, the "Daytime Divas" actress wrote:

"When you take over a song your kid is singing, then can't find a parking spot."

The clip was one of many that she posts on her social media, showing the mother-daughter duo's strong relationship and showcasing their strong vocals.

MIRACLE BABY

The close bond between mother and daughter is undeniable. Speaking up on an episode of "In Bed With Joan," the "Grow For Me" songstress opened up about her struggles with getting pregnant.

The "Wild Hogs" actress shared that she had struggled with a bad case of endometriosis for years and had given up, even accepting that having kids was out of the question, then one day, she found out she was pregnant.

A TUMULTUOUS PERSONAL LIFE

Twice married, the hilarious actress divorced her second husband, Rico Hines, amid a scandal involving his sex tape with another woman.

The "Everybody Loves Chris" star says she sent the video to "very close people" to announce she was splitting from Hines, but the video leaked, causing public uproar.

Seeing the video made her feel betrayed, but she maintains, to this day, that no one from her camp leaked the video.

She also shared that it was not the first time Hines had strayed from their marriage. "The Main Event" actress says they "fixed" some of her husband's previous cheating escapades, but when it became a habit, she jumped ship.
