Kentucky residents who did not believe in miracles had their minds changed after two babies placed in a bathtub with a Bible were found alive following a terrible tornado that took them away. Here are the details of the surprising story.

Recently, a miracle occurred in Kentucky after two babies survived a tornado that ripped the bathtub they were placed in, out of the ground, and out of their grandmother's grip, tossing it with the infants.

The grandmother, Clara Lutz, explained that she put her grandchildren, Kaden, fifteen months old, and Dallas, three months old, in a bathtub with a pillow, a blanket, and a Bible. Soon after, their home in Hopkins County began to tremble.

According to Lutz, the tub was lifted, and she could not hold on to it. Furthermore, the woman said the water tank from the bathtub hit her in the back of the head, and she began searching for the babies among the wreckage.

In addition to the missing children, the grandma's house was stripped to the foundation. While Lutz continued searching for her grandkids, she prayed to God to bring back the babies safely.

Not long after, the woman's prayer was answered, as the bathtub was discovered in her yard, turned upside down, with the children underneath and alive. Deputy Troy Blue from the Sheriff's department told 14News:

"I just heard the sound of crying or screaming coming from a distance."

Two policemen raised the tub while Deputy Trent Arnold pulled the babies from underneath it. Next, deputies arrived at the end of Lutz's driveway and reunited her with her grandbabies.

Narrating the reunion, the delighted grandma explained, "The sheriff came down. I got in the sheriff's car at the end of my driveway, and it wasn't long after that they opened up the door and brought me Kaden, my 15-month-old. And they brought me my three-month-old baby Dallas."

Lutz mentioned that when she saw Dallas, the back of his head was severely injured, and they did not know what the problem was.

The little boy had to be taken to the hospital because he was bleeding from his head; however, before they arrived at the hospital, the bleeding ceased.

Deputy Arnold commended the efforts of Lutz in protecting the children. He said the woman's actions in placing different items around the kids to shield them may have been what saved their lives.

Lutz explained that the babies' parents' house on the north end of the county was almost untouched by the tornado. Rather than take glory in her efforts in saving the children's lives, the grandmother thanked God for saving Kaden and Dallas's lives.

She also cared less about her wrecked apartment, as all that mattered was that her grandchildren were alive.
