Whoopi Goldberg Tests Positive For COVID-19

As COVID-19 restrictions ease and the world is seemingly finding its rhythm again, many people are still being affected by the virus, Whoopi Goldberg is one of them.

Goldberg has tested positive for the new variant of the virus, Omicron. Her co-hosts announced it on the talk show “The View.”

Joy Behar shared the news with the audience on Monday’s episode of the show, which was filmed by each of the hosts remotely.

Behar said that Goldberg’s symptoms were “very mild” because of the fact that she has received both her vaccination and her booster shot.

It was also revealed that because her symptoms were so mild, Goldberg will likely return to the show next week. The entire cast is said to be sending Goldberg their good wishes.

We wish Whoopi Goldberg a speedy recovery and hope that she can return to "The View" to assume her co-hosting duties again soon.
