'Full House' Star Jodie Sweetin Gets Engaged a Week after Sudden Death of TV Father Bob Saget

Jodie Sweetin is engaged! The "Full House" star said "I do" to her boyfriend of four years, just days after her TV dad, Bob Saget, passed on.

Jodie Sweetin announced the engagement on her Instagram. The actress and her boyfriend, Mescal Wasilewski, posed for the photo with Sweetin with huge smiles on their faces.

She began the post by quoting Maya Angelou, writing: "In all the world there is no heart for me like yours. In all the world, there is no love for you like mine."

She then professed her love for him, saying that he was her person and that she could not wait to see what life had in store for them. The photo also showcased the massive beautiful diamond ring on her finger.

A LONG JOURNEY TO FINDING LOVE

Sweetin disclosed she was excited for her forties, and with enough reason. Since her divorce, the star has had a long and challenging journey of finding love.

Sweetin has been through three divorces and a broken engagement. She married her first husband, Shaun Holguin, in 2002 at only 20. Four years later, they called it quits.

Not long after, the "Entertaining Christmas" star started dating film industry driver and coordinator Cody Herpin, and after only two months, they married in Las Vegas. They welcomed their daughter Zoie May Herpin in July 2007.

However, the marriage did not last long, and when Zoie was only seven months old, they separated. Sweetin then started dating Morty Coyle in 2009. They welcomed their daughter Beatrice in 2010, and soon after, they got engaged.

According to reports, the couple married in 2012, but a year later, they separated. Their divorce did not become final until 2016.

That same year, Sweetin got engaged to Justin Hodak, but they broke off the engagement after Hodak's run-ins with the law just over a year later. Sweetin confirmed a new relationship with Wasilewski in 2018, and the two have been going strong since.

ENGAGED A WEEK AFTER LOSING HER TV DAD

The thrilling news comes only a week after the "Love Under The Rainbow" star lost her TV dad, Bob Saget.

Following his sudden passing on January 9, Sweetin paid her respects with sweet and emotional words to the man that played her father on the long-running 80's sitcom "Full House."

Sweeting, who played Stephanie Tanner, referred to Saget as a phenomenal and genuine human being in the lengthy Instagram post. She recalled how Saget never missed a chance to tell those close to him that he loved them.

The actress then shared that Saget was kind-hearted and loved helping others. She says she will miss all the songs and inside jokes they shared. But besides being a wonderful person in real life, Sweetin also noted that Saget had been the best TV dad.
